"Gene, Mega Man X were part of our initial discussions"

"Mega Man not being in UMvC3 was not intended to be trolling the fans, and it is just unfortunate that the MML3 cancellation and the roster leak occurred very near our reveal of the game."

"Cyclops was never considered. There are too many X-Men in the game already"

"Venom was vetoed by Marvel." (Most likely because Capcom wanted the traditional Venom and Marvel is way past that Venom.)

"Balance of Gender and Race was never a considerations in our discussions."

"Someone asked about Gambit and they said he's not in, but he hasn't been ignored."

All of this is paraphrased.

I'd like to see Anti-Venom someday. A character who can subtract powers from others could be interesting for a fighting game.

Just as I thought on Venom. They wanted Eddie Brock. Marvel would want Flash Thompson and it's just two completely different things. Flash Thompson Venom would be like half the roster we already have.

I'm calling it now. Gene/Mega Man X & Gambit/Daredevil for DLC. Perhaps more characters since I can see Capcom wanting to pass up MvC2's roster number.

In that video Seth Killian mentions were getting a Days of Future Past stage!around the 5 minute mark.

Psylocke is. Probably the only adult female X-Woman besides Emma and Rogue that is actually. Even Storm's doing jack**** lately.

psylocke would indeed be probably the most relevant female (next to ms marvel) for them to add to this game (id think, other than of course emma frost), she'd also have her X-force skin.. so you can do a REAL x-force team.. doesnt deadpool just sorta pop in and out?

i could see it now actually.. (classic skin/crimson dawn/ x-factor/ and maybe something like her original?)

eh not really.. i would have rather had X-mansion, Danger room, asteroid M island in san fran.. thus we could see modern x-men cameos. plus no one fits in to that DoFP level besides wolverine.. (and he doesn't even have that variant of his costume!)

i also still desperately want a latveria level.. with the fan 4 in the background

that's what i'd hope for too.. but ... sooooo not the most wanted X-stage.. hell i'd take savage land over it.

i could see the negative zone being that... or some level with annihilation in the background... or even the Shiar empire... with stuff in the background (if only blackbolt was playable... )

Since PW is in, I imagine a courtroom stage and I hope for a new Dead Rising stage.

This one got me too. But it could be a cameo. If I had to pick one that's playable I'd go with Gambit. What can Cyclops do besides shoot beams, which other characters already do?

well with one of the Capcom ones just being an existing one with snow... i suspect at least 1 marvel repeat... with only something slightly changed..

if i had it my way... Capcom would have the courtroom (which would suit she-hulk as well...

but the other 2 marvel stages would be. Latveria (with fan 4 in background), and probably a Cosmic level.. during the Annihilation war (to tie in superskrull, nova, and rocket)
