Sentry is dead and no longer relevant in the Marvel Universe. I doubt he stands any chance of getting in. He's not even that popular and Marvel is done with pushing him. Besides Nova has similar powers so I think he could fit the build for what Sentry might have been like

Between Herc and Ares, I prefer Ares. I guess he at least has the ax to bring in some unique moves but I dont think Herc has much to offer thats not already represented in other brute strength characters

Id kill to get Havok in there and considering he's finally returning to the books, I hope that ups his chances sometime in the future. Its about time he becomes a playable character again. I thought he was great in the Activision fighting series. Speaking of which, why did they stop making those games. They still have the X-men license. I thought the last one, Next Dimensions was great. It wasnt perfect but it was fun, had good gameplay, tons of costumes and an actual story mode. As a matter of fact, I think I might play it later on

I LOVED the Mutant Academy and Next Dimensions games!!

it would be great if they did a new one on this generation of consoles.......

I don't know why they stopped making those games, either...

I still have Mutant Academy 2. We can even play as Spidey and Symbiote Spidey. It's a nice fighting game.

one thing I didn't like too well in those X-men fighting games, was the command inputs for some of the special moves. I remember some of those were.......interesting. like they were more complicated than need be.

It felt like a Street Fighter/Tekken hybrid which is ironic considering those two games are crossing over now

Anyone else watch the EVO finals for MVC3 just a bit ago? Holy crap, those were amazing, first time I ever watched one of those. Saw some of the most incredible 2D fighter playing I've ever seen, and this game really is the most cinematic one out there right now (been watching all the other fighting game tournaments that led up to it the last couple days too, and many of them can be a bit boring). Some amazing comebacks, and combos and counters I didn't think were even possible, with just immaculate timing and strategy and reactions from the guys playing. I'd recommend watching the final 8 showdown once it gets to youtube.

Sat through the Mortal Kombat part of the tournament, and while it looked fun to play, it was really touch sitting through watching it, kind of a drone. I think what's amazing about watching mvc3 is that these guys are processing so many different angles and moves at such a fast pace that it's mind boggling. The speed of this game really sets it apart in my mind.

I wasn't planning on getting the ultimate edition, but after watching this tournament, I'll probably get it just for the fact that you can watch matches in lobbies online now. I didn't realize how fun that feature would be for this game until watching this thing today.

The MvC3 Evo finals where good... But this SSF4:AE Top 8 has had me on the edge of my seat... So damn good... Especially when Diago got eliminated by the American Latif who is now in he grand finals against Fuudo!

I wanted to watch the SF4 one, but I had monopolized the TV for too long today through MVC3, had to let my roommate put something else on. I'll definitely try to catch it on youtube soon.

i get tired of people complaining about X-men reps.. for christ's sake, they have the largest range of powers, and have the most unique ones compared to everyone else in the marvel universe..

Non X-men:
-super strength
-flight
-super durability
-super flexibility
-expert in hand to hand combat
-expert in weaponry
-skilled in magic
-regeneration

X-men:
-all of the above...
-telekenisis
-telepathy
-cryokenisis
-weather control
-teleportation
-sonic voice
-ability absorption
-the ability to warp metal
-shoot bones out of there body
-pyrokenisis
-self conbustion
-kinetically charge objects
-body can form into diamond, metal, and other elements
-probability control
-shape-shifting
-super speed
-phasing through walls
-etc... etc.... etc...

now.. granted some other non x-men have versions of these powers.. but they're very very few and far between.

so yes.. while you may get mad that one "team" over powers another... maybe try viewing it in a different light. because if you want to play by teams.. there's technically too many avengers..

Nova isn't an Avenger. He was used as a plot device in 4 issues of Secret Avengers. That's pretty much it.

I don't count Spidey and Wolverine as Avengers either. They're Bendisvengers. Which ain't the real thing. And Hulk isn't really an Avenger either.

doesn't really matter what you want to personally count or not. they're all official avengers (whether you agree with it or not)
