Marvel vs. Capcom 3 - Part 4

I'm not wasting time either since it doesn't require any time at all anyway.

Just give me Armored Spider-Man as a DLC costume and I'd be happy although I wouldn't mind having Spider-Man Noir. :word:

Not a big surprise since MvC3 is the only disc game they've made this year so far.

Yeah, but that also gets offered as DLC, so not everyone is going to buy the disc release.

People are complaining far too much. I'm actually quite pleased that roster wise on all their fighting games lately they haven't just went with the ''boring" safe choices. They've took some risks. They've picked characters that should be just a respected and liked as the big shots like Megaman, Ryu, Venom, Spider-Man, blah.

I think it's one thing to complain about the roster, and another thing to complain about shelling out $100+ to complete a game that should have majority of it's completed parts upon first release.. Some DLC is alright.. don't get me wrong. But we shouldn't have to buy one game, buy DLC for it, then that game becomes obsolete with a new game (with all the ad-ons that should have come with the first game), much more DLC, and then the probability of yet another version of the game to make the 2nd version obsolete.

that is something people CAN be allowed to complain and be angry about.

Even then it's just the the world we live now. People act like Capcom is the only company that double dips or that they invented the double dip and add-on tactic. It's been around in all entertainment media forms for years before Capcom.

There's a point where you just have to realize complaining about it and protesting isn't going to stop it from happening because a majority of people are actually still buying these double dips. It'd literally take all of Capcom's market base to actually achieve anything and that's never gonna happen.

So I see no point in *****ing when it's not gonna achieve ANYTHING. The game will still sell. The DLC will still sell. And if there's a third version. It will sell. It's the same concept as people buying multiple versions of Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and other epic movie series on different formats or different editions.

meh.. if you lie down and take it.. sure. But Capcom is the only company that literally milks there games like this to this extreme.

and someone just posted that capcoms sales are down ... so yeah.. people arn't buying

Also people act like this is a new concept with Capcom. The only thing that's different is DLC now. Like did all of you forget Street Fighter II? Because for **** sakes I remember having two or three copies of that game on the SNES alone.

Capcom's sales were down because literally the only disc based game they had was Marvel vs Capcom 3. Not because people are all ''I'M PISSED!" It was because they only had one new game on the market. If they had Resident Evil 6, a Megaman disc based game, a new DMC based game on the market and the sales were down. Then you could claim that maybe it was because people were pissed. But literally people, logic, logic, people, use it. Most of you are smart.

When something has been this way since 1994. It seems silly to think it will ever change.

sorry, but not everyone who buys this game is a capcom game junky.. There I only own 1 capcom game previous to this (MvC2) and they did not do this with that version of the game. And I guarantee you i'm not the only one. So yes.. we will complain, and that's perfectly ok

and people complain about that with movies as well. Just bc its done in other mediums doesnt mean it's accepted

I'm ok with multiple versions as long as the newer version has significantly more content. The new MVC3 doesn't... still no Megaman?

Megaman isn't the judge of content though. Just because that one character isn't doesn't deem it an unnecessary upgrade. There's still 12 new fighters and 8 new stages.

That's only looking at the flashy stuff. Then you get into the tweaks into the move-sets and making the game more balanced. But no let's just look at it and go ''No Megaman? Whatever."

That still doesn't mean I'm going to defend how Capcom goes about their PR for the upgrade/dlc/doubledip though. Because seriously the excuses they've used are just downright disrespectable.

''He wasn't in the top wanted list."

And now half the characters added to the roster were people they gave specific reasons as to why they would never work. That I can understand people complaining about because that is ********.

Do you guys even realize what's going on with the Mega Man franchise right now, or are you just talking out of your ass as usual?

There's a pretty good reason why MM wasn't INCLUDED LATER ON in this game, and it has a lot to do with the godfather of Mega Man stepping out of Capcom and basically telling them to go **** themselves.

MML3? Canceled.
People asking about MML3 / MM at the comic-con booth? Escorted out.
People talking **** to Capcom while dressed as a mega man character? Escorted out.

They're literally whitewashing everything that has to do with megaman at this point.

I dont think people give a damn about any of that honestly. If anything it just confirms their negative view on Capcom with how poorly they are handling things

The only people who don't complain about roster choices are people who like terrible characters like She-Hulk, Howard the Duck, Rocket Raccoon, and anyone else that Bill likes. Dat Bill sure is a bad person.:o
