Not the only one. There's also SFIV AENot a big surprise since MvC3 is the only disc game they've made this year so far.
People are complaining far too much. I'm actually quite pleased that roster wise on all their fighting games lately they haven't just went with the ''boring" safe choices. They've took some risks. They've picked characters that should be just a respected and liked as the big shots like Megaman, Ryu, Venom, Spider-Man, blah.
Even then it's just the the world we live now. People act like Capcom is the only company that double dips or that they invented the double dip and add-on tactic. It's been around in all entertainment media forms for years before Capcom.
There's a point where you just have to realize complaining about it and protesting isn't going to stop it from happening because a majority of people are actually still buying these double dips. It'd literally take all of Capcom's market base to actually achieve anything and that's never gonna happen.
So I see no point in *****ing when it's not gonna achieve ANYTHING. The game will still sell. The DLC will still sell. And if there's a third version. It will sell. It's the same concept as people buying multiple versions of Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and other epic movie series on different formats or different editions.
Capcom's sales were down because literally the only disc based game they had was Marvel vs Capcom 3. Not because people are all ''I'M PISSED!" It was because they only had one new game on the market. If they had Resident Evil 6, a Megaman disc based game, a new DMC based game on the market and the sales were down. Then you could claim that maybe it was because people were pissed. But literally people, logic, logic, people, use it. Most of you are smart.meh.. if you lie down and take it.. sure. But Capcom is the only company that literally milks there games like this to this extreme.
and someone just posted that capcoms sales are down ... so yeah.. people arn't buying
When something has been this way since 1994. It seems silly to think it will ever change.
and people complain about that with movies as well. Just bc its done in other mediums doesnt mean it's acceptedSo I see no point in *****ing when it's not gonna achieve ANYTHING. I dont think people give a damn about any of that honestly. If anything it just confirms their negative view on Capcom with how poorly they are handling thingsDo you guys even realize what's going on with the Mega Man franchise right now, or are you just talking out of your ass as usual?
There's a pretty good reason why MM wasn't INCLUDED LATER ON in this game, and it has a lot to do with the godfather of Mega Man stepping out of Capcom and basically telling them to go **** themselves.
MML3? Canceled.
People asking about MML3 / MM at the comic-con booth? Escorted out.
People talking **** to Capcom while dressed as a mega man character? Escorted out.
They're literally whitewashing everything that has to do with megaman at this point.
