Capcom Marvel vs. Capcom 3

War Machine shouldn't be an alt or Iron Man. They have completely different powers really.

If there is an alt of Iron Man is should be one of his different armours, not War Machine.

Invisible Walls talks about their trip to Hawaii and Marvel vs Capcom 3.

Fun fact, the trailer that went online for the public was edited by the ESBR. Apparently they closed off Morrigan's cleavage because it showed too much.

It makes sense to not have F4 and have Superskrull in there instead to me. That way, you have all their powers and saves 3 spots to other cool characters. And you also get to play a cool villain. I like it tbh.

And I'm also very excited to see Dormammu in this actually (don't flame me).

Superskrull, Dormammu, Dr. Doom and Magneto. Makes a cool set of villains for me. I'd also like someone like Ultron and Green Goblin.

I like the roster we seem to know so far. The smaller roster will hopefully be more balanced and that's good for me.

I would also love for Ultron to be in. Thought I was the only one.

Here's who I think should get the shaft that was in MVC 2

War Machine = Pointless when Iron Man
Venom = Spider-Man.
Jill = We got Chris now.
War Machine's powers is totally different than Iron Man's. Hell, you can easily see that in the IM2 trailers. Look at WM how fast takes down the drones & how slow IM does. That's effect their gameplay good enough, WM would share the repulsor power & that's it.

Venom would only share a web move from Spidey, besides that he's much stronger & could use the Symbiote for multiple weapons.

Jill would be more quick & acrobatic than Chris.

But I agree on the rest, especially Bone Wolverine.

No, I'm all for him in the game. He's my favorite Avengers villain.

A totally selfish list of Capcom characters that I'd like to see. Of course taken into account the already confirmed and rumored.

They better not screw up Iron Man's repulsar blasts in this one like they did in part 2. His moves should be repular blasts, a rocket punch (my fav from Ultimate Alliance 2), missiles from his shoulders and his main one should be the Uni-Beam instead of the Proton Cannon.

As I've said countless times, the only game to ever get his repulsars right was the Captain American and the Avengers arcade game.

I played MVC2 for the first time in ages yesterday and got to the final round with Gambit,War Machine and Venom before losing to Abyss's final form. It's unfortunate I don't see any these 3 making the cut for MVC3.Also as far as alternate costumes go

Spider-man-Symboite and Scarlet
Hulk-Joe Fixit and Gray Hulk
Iron Man-Classic Armor and Modern Armor(The new one debuting soon)
Wolverine-Brown and Tan,X-force

Also taking another look at the trailer I think Viewitful Joe is in too.

In the comics, Venom is a copy of Spiderman. An improved one.

What MvC 2 did was to make him basically Carnage in terms of moves. He does alot of **** with his symbiote that he never did in other mediums.

If anything, Carnage would make alot more sense because of his ability to make weapons, manipulate and shoot projectiles out of his symbiote costume. I'm not saying that I prefer Carnage over Venom character-wise, I'm just saying that his moves are alot more interesting then what a true Venom character could bring.

O **** I forgot about Wolvie's X Force Costume... that would be so awesome!

The only Spider-Man villains that should have a chance to be in the game are Green Goblin and Doc Ock for me. Especially Green Goblin, as he's become alot bigger Marvel villain now than he was before.

That's the thing...Venom does have morphing abilities in the comics. All symbiotes do. I never understood why Venom's were supposed to be limited compared to Carnage. I mean, if Venom could have the symbiote form itself into shields, why not blades and blunt weapons, too? But moving on...

Venom's moves in MvC weren't all made up, and they certainly weren't based on Carnage. None of Venom's attacks involved morphing his limbs into blades or axes. Some of his attacks were difinetely things he hadn't done int the comics (but many characters did crap they've never been known to do...) but at least with these moves they were reasonable. With a shapeshifting alien costume, is it really that hard to imagine Venom being able to clap his arms together and turn them into a giant set of teeth? His Venom Rush move actually is based off the many times in the early 90's ASM he would slither some of the symbiote along the ground to Spider-Man and surprise him with it, albiet in MvC this "move" was exaggerated...

But then again, show me one character whose moves weren't exaggerated...Ryu had a Kamehameha Wave Death Laser Shinkuu Hadoken, Chun-Li's Kikosho filled half the screen and surrounded her entirely, Magneto made energy pillars erupt from the ground, the Hulk would jump into outer space and crush you with an asteroid, and don't get me started on Sentinel, who was basically Master Mold. I'm just saying everyone either had powers, attacks, and moves that were wither exaggerated but based on their actual abilities, or just brand new stuff made from thin air.

If MvC3 takes the more tolerable pacing that TvC did, then I can easily see everyone having less exaggerated moves.

On April 20, 2010, the prestigious company of electronic entertainment © Capcom Entertainment, Inc., issued an official press release detailing the games announced during the Captative Fair 2010 that held in Hawaii. In this official press appeared written a new chapter in one of the most popular sagas in history of the fighting videogames, Marvel VS. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds, but unfortunately for users of Nintendo, it will realease only for PS3 and Xbox360 the next Spring.

In this formal request express our hope that the developer Capcom reconsider and finish editing the title Marvel VS. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds in Nintendo Wii and it becomes apparent through the collection of signatures and the detailed breakdown of reasons why the game should end up getting to the players and platforms as possible that you will find below.

www.petitiononline.com/mvc3wii/petition....

Please, sign this petition. We can do it!

I guess Wii players are out of luck. Capcom is using the MT Framework engine, which they used for Lost Planet 2 and Resident Evil 5. I'm afraid the Wii can't handle that. So unless they start from scratch, I don't see it getting ported to the Wii.

Capcom adapted MT Framework to Wii in November of the last year. Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes to Wii and PS3, use this graphic engine according the last news. But of course, if it is not possible they can use the graphic engine of Tatsunoko vs Capcom.

All information is in the petition, please read and sing it. It´s important for all wii users. Thank you.

You shouldn't only have a Wii anyway. You are missing out on this generations best games by only having a Wii. Go get a PS3, they aren't that expensive anymore.

Haha and a year from now Capcom announces MvC3 coming to the Iphone

IA. Anyone who is serious about gaming does not get a Wii. Its a supplemental system but it shouldnt be your primary choice

The Wii is alright when you're round a mates house after the pub or something. Can be pretty fun.

But it isn't a proper gaming system.

The only single player game I own for my Wii is Red Steel. And I haven't even played through that yet. It was one of the titles I bought when it just came out.

I understand and sympathize with those who see an exclusive on another console and want to play it so they hope it'll see a port, but honestly, all this petition crap gets on my nerves (no offense Josel).

IF Capcom decides it's worth the time, effort, and money to mess with the engine and graphics to make it Wii capable, they will. However this idea that gamers have gotten into their heads more and more this generation that if an angry mob can form and threaten legal action, or sign a massive petitions and force a company to produce a product they either don't want to, or feel is a good decision for them buisness wise, is stupid (IMO).

I mean, I'm not unsympathetic. The more hands a good game gets in the better. It's more the petition part that gets me. Tho games like SF4 are designed purely with HD gaming consoles in mind, and would probably take a lot of work to make them capable of playing on the Wii. Capcom vs. Tatsunoku was Capcom's way of saying, "We can't bring SF4 over, but we haven't forgotten Wii owners". I think it's the same with MVC3, with what we're told are in game graphics, it looks to be possibly even more graphical than SF4. I can't see it being a simple port to the Wii.

Hah, im with you. Online petitions have to be one of the dumbest things to come from the internet.
