Chun Li is pretty much the female character of gaming outside maybe Lara Croft, and she's easily the most recognizable SF outside Ryu, Ken, and maybe Bison. Even if the time they were introduced are kind of close, if there's ever going to just one female SF character to make it into a crossover, it's going to be Chun Li.

And Guile. Everyone remembers Guile because of his big, poofy hair.

If we can somehow get 4 SF reps (already getting Ryu, Chun &a villain....probably Bison), I really hope Guile would be the 4th character.

I'd rather it be someone who hasn't appeared in a vs game before.

I can see Ibuki making it as she was gonna be in TVC but was replaced by Alex because the Capcom side needed a grappler.

i think ken is in the game. so it's ryu, ken, chun and bison. i'm hoping they fit guile in there...he's arguably as popular as ken if not more so.

Ken is redundant. If 1 more SF character gets to be in this, Id rather it be Guile or Cammy

And speaking of repetitive characters...I hate how Morrigan and Felicia are ALWAYS the ones to represent Darkstalkers. Id love it if there was a Vs game where the two of them were left off and they'd go to the rest of the cast as it had some diverse characters. I dont get why those two get special treatment over the rest

Ive played the original 3 games and they never came across as the main characters. No character really stood out like Ryu or Ken. If anything I thought Demitri was their cloest thing to a Ryu equivalent

That would literally be Marvel vs Capcom.

And about the RS thing, I read that the roster is pretty much locked down. So if they decide to put a RS sometime in the future it'll probably be DLC.

If we have to have 4 Street Fighters I'd like to see Ryu, Chun Li, Juri (she had an intersting visual look and wasn't she a villain?), and Vega.

I REALLY think Ms. Marvel is going to be in. She's quickly becoming the biggest woman in Marvel.

I also really hope CapCom will be in too, but he's a 50/50 shot now. Capcom should try to do another game with him though.

Actually, as much as I rock with Guile, I'd prefer Blanka. He never gets enough love. I was honestly shocked that he was included in SFIV.

Yeah, I don't get all the Felicia and Morrigan stuff either. Morrigan is alright, I mean it's almost a running gag to have her in everything (especially since they used pretty much the same sprite everytime). However Morrigan has the hot monster chick spot filled, if they're just including Felicia to add in a sexy cat girl, just pick another cute girl from one of their other series. Personally I've never been a fan of Felicia's moveset, and think she's kinda a wasted spot unless it's a pure Darkstalker's game. There are plenty of other Darkstalker's that don't get represented enough.


As for who the main guy it, you guys probably got as close to a main character as you can get for the series. It didn't seem to have a clear Ryu type character, and most of the storylines are kinda hazy in my memory as they didn't seem to stand out too much. I did watch the mini anime series it had for it awhile back. It mainly followed that monk with the huge sword (his name escapes me atm) and had him as pretty much the main character with Anita following him around, with Dimitri pretty much taking a back seat because he didn't care to get involved. I guess him being a human with Darkstalker blood made him about as relateable as can be in a game full of zombies and vampires as the gamer could get.

Being the big Darkstalker fan that I am, I can assure you guys that Morrigan is the "main character" of their series, with Dimitri being a close 2nd. Up til Jedah intervenes, most of the "storyline" is about how the Aensland (Morrigan) clan are at war with Dimitri, who is also trying to rule Makai (the world of the Darkstalkers).

I think Juri is a Anti-Villian and man would I love if she made it

If any 4 SF I would say this would be my choices:

2.Cammy
3.Bison or Blanka
