I can't believe they kept Iron Man's same moves.

Oh well, at least visually they're an improvement.

i hope not... i don't see why they would do that to us... since the last had so many... and they didnt seem to expand on old characters (ironman, cap, wolverine)'s moves or lines... so if anything id like the same amount, or more.

MV2 had 56 characters.... 26 on both side... so yeah that's alot of charactersfor games these days... ill have a dream of 60 though.. , lord knows the soul calibur games seem to have more than that.

When the game was announced they said that they had 30 characters and were working to add more. They said they wanted to have more than SSF4. So it'll probably be around 36.

And the reason why MVC2 had so many characters was because over 40 of them were just copied and pasted from previous fighting games. They're starting from scratch right here. And that's a good thing. Look at Mortal Kombat Armageddon. They ported all their 3d characters from MKDA, and MKD to Armageddon with only characters who weren't in those games and the new characters being made from scratch. They looked terrible, and for a cannon video game, it was real sad.

Most of the characters in MVC2 consists about 38 characters being 17 X-men characters, 12 SF characters, 4 Darkstalkers characters, 4 Megaman characters, and another Wolverine(which was really unnecessary) Plus it was probably because of the amount of characters that it didn't have win quotes and character specific endings. I would like for those to return.

well that sucks that they don't want RE monsters... and they must really hate the Fan 4... so i guess i'd replace torch on my list... with bringing dr. doom back

Well with the limited roster there should be as many unique characters as possible. So Ken and Sakura are unneeded when we already have Ryu.

I think you have too many X-men and SF characters. This is MVC3. Not X-men vs SF 2 with new additions.(which is basically what MVC2 was.) Three should be the maximum for both sides. TVC did the right thing by having only 3 SF characters.

You know who I forgot in my list,Iron Fist his power set would be unique.I think he'd make an awesome addition.I'd take him over an X-man any day.

It's not that they hated them. It's that they would take up four slots. The F4 are(usually) of equal importance, so it wouldn't make sense to include one of the four but not the other three, two out of the four, or any other combination. Rather than filling up four of Marvel's 15-20 character slots, it makes more sense to condense all four of their powers into one character: Super Skrull.

Dr.Strange would make a lot of sense seeing that Dormammu seems to be the main bad guy.I Think Ghost Rider can provide a unique move set as well.
