Capcom Marvel vs. Capcom 3

I probably asked this once, but what's with the Frank West love? He was only in Dead Rising, and didn't really seem particularly anything special or noteworthy. I don't even remember him having any solid characterizations or special traits, so why are you guys rooting for him so much? I don't get it.

Well, yeah, I do remember that, it's about all I remember for that matter

I mean, everyone is open to who they want in the game, but it seems like rooting for generic cop C that got killed in the opening cinematic of Resident Evil 2 to be on the roster. Seems kind of weird to me, but you know, it's cool, everyone's free to root for whoever I guess

I just got word from Wes Phillips at Capcom that "Marvel vs. Capcom" fans should stay tuned to G4TV and G4tv.com/EVO next week.

What's EVO? What's going on? Here are a few choice bits from the press release:

This July 9-11 the greatest virtual gladiators known to man will descend upon Caesar's Palace Resort and Casino in Las Vegas for EVO 2010, the world's most impressive fighting game competition, and G4 will provide coverage of the three-day tournament as never before. 45 hours of live streaming coverage at G4tv.com/EVO and a 30-minute "X-Play" special airing on July 20 makes G4 the place to be for the most comprehensive coverage of this year's massive competition.

Streamed coverage will broadcast matches featuring the world's top players flying in from 20 countries, including Japan's Daigo Umehara, EVO 2009 World Champion, as well as special guest "Super Street Fighter IV" producer Yoshinori Ono and "Marvel vs. Capcom 3" producer Ryota Niitsuma.

Additionally, not only will "Marvel vs. Capcom 2" be one of the featured tournament games at EVO, but the special EVO episode of "X-Play" will feature a new preview of "Marvel vs. Capcom 3."

One of the best characters in the game. It's because of TvC (I never played Dead Rising) that I want Frank West in MvC3.

I say outside of Cap, Iron Man, Hulk, Spidey, and Wolverine (being the big draws) they should change up all the characters, give us some new choices. Most of the marvel characters in MvC2 were still holdovers from X-men:COTA

I really hope he is in this. He is such an underused character as is Moon Knight.

I have a feeling these are the characters that are gonna be revealed at CC (& for Cap & Cammie shown in the next trailer/episode) & it looks like Chun Li is on the Capcom side, soooo... Chun Li vs Iron Fist?

The shadow just brought his character to me first. Plus it just makes total sense.
