Capcom Marvel vs. Capcom 3

Well, Guile wasn't in TvC so that's why I'm worried. Guile's my favorite SF character, can't get more awesome than him.

To be fair though, TvC only used two SF characters. I have a feeling MvC3 will be a bit more open than TvC was in character selection.

Hopefully. I'm hoping their 3 major franchises will be represented fairly (SF, MM & RE). Hell, I wouldn't even mind Chuck Green being a secret character, Frank & Chuck could have different weapons for different moves.

Though, if DR2 sucks I won't want him in.

Three SF characters was in TvC, but what ever. By looking at that demo, I guess it's safe to assume Dante and Deadpool are going to be the favorites. I just hope Dante isn't going to be overpowered.

I think TVC did the right thing by having only three SF characters and I'm hoping MVC3 does the same thing by not cluttering the Capcom side with SF characters. When I want Marvel vs Capcom I want Marvel vs Capcom. Not Marvel vs SF and some other Capcom characters.

If there's to be at least two more SF characters I hope one of them is someone who hasn't been in a vs game before. Like Ibuki. I heard that she was originally gonna be in TVC, but was replaced by Alex, because the Capcom side needed a grappler.

yea but didn't the first game have only like 16 playables 8 to a side?That was still a good chunk taken by street fighter.Not a bad thing as street fighter is their most popular franchise.But MvC2 did seem more like X-men vs. Steet Fighter 2.Though I understand why.

Yeah he would be cool. But I worry that they would give him almost the same move set as the Sentinel in MvC2...ie extending arms and legs.
But you never know. He could be cool visually.

I really dont think GG would be all that interesting to play as. I wouldnt have chosen him, but Id prefer the Sandman as well

Ah, I forgot about Alex...so yea, 3 SF characters. I never use him, so yea, I forgot they put him in.

They put Marrow in over Nightcrawle, Jean, Angel or Bishop in MvC2.

Ryu representing SF 1, Chun-Li SF2 and Alex repping SF 3. Chances are they will do something similar this time, since they want to add characters from toher Capcom franchises.

You are kidding right? Green Goblin would be perfect for a fighter. Anything from his bag o'tricks and Ostech, he possibilities for moves a limitless.

Also, Goblin would be a better choice than Carnage, Gobby is the more Iconic Spidey villain and we already have the orginal symbiote, so Carnage would be redundant.

But remember that Marvel has a hand in picking their side this time. Then again, it seems they picked Super-Skrull over the F4, so who knows?

Capcom considered using them, Marvel said no, then they offered Super Skrull as an option because he has all their powers. I like this better because in most things you get all four members and that's a bit too much when you have such limited spaces. And given that he has all their powers he can probably do more creative things given that he can use more than one power at once.

I dont even think he worked that well in MuA2

I'd love to have Carnage if they can give him a proper moveset.
The Mugen Carnage is one of my favorite fighters.

Carnage would be okay. But I'm thinking Marvel's gonna pick characters who are big recently in the comics. So except characters like Luke Cage, Ms. Marvel & Iron Fist. If we get Venom, it could be the Gargan version. Which would be better, since in the story Venom will probably be a villain & I don't like Brock as a villain.

What difference would it matter if it were Grgan vs Brock's Venom? Venom is Venom. In the game, it would amount to Adamantium Wolverine vs Bone Wolverine; in other words theres nothing significantly different there from a game standpoint.
