Capcom Marvel vs. Capcom 3

I never played it because I have no idea what kind of game it is. All I know about Okami is that there's a wolf and You Should Play It™.

It's an action-adventure game, kind of a similar vein to Zelda. And you should play it

Yea, it's basically a Zelda style game.

It's awesome, and one of the games that prove that gaming can be up there with the highest forms of art.

Edit: In a few months Okamiden for the DS will be out. It's the sequel, and you should get it so it doesn't die the horrible sales death the original did.

I now honestly think just about any hope for Pre-2000 Capcom series that aren't popular (basically anything not Street Fighter, Mega Man and Resident Evil) is pretty much dead.

A shame too. I would have liked Regina from Dino Crisis. She could play like Jill in MVC2 except with dinosaurs instead of zombies and in her level 3 super she sends out a T-rex.

Ah well. If Ms Marvel and Wesker make it I'll be more satisfied than I already am.

Arthur was part of the leaked cast list, so I doubt Capcom is being too discriminate with eras. They just want to get what fans want in the game, and if you look at any fighting game message board, names like Dante and Trish show up dozens of times over as opposed to Regina or the Bionic Commando.

Yeah, but that supposedly "leaked" roster didn't have Ammy listed. So it's invalid.

I know. I never said there were gonna be just 30. It was just that the deconfirmation of Power Stone and Rival Schools that's got me worried for the older obscure Capcom franchises.

Reading the Amaterasu's comments on the previous page, I also thought it was a weird choice. But then I watched the clip of her kicking ass.
Amaterasu looks awesome to me now.

Well Morrigan is in there representing Darkstalkers and thats a game that hasnt seen an original release since 1997

Knowing who will and who won't be in MvC3 so far, I would like to see Mega Man, Proto Man, Tron Bonne, Mike Haggar, Poison, Sir Arthur, Hayato Kanzaki, and Viewtiful Joe be included. Obviously that's not all, but those are the ones I really want in there.

That list was proven to be Invalid, especially after Nitsuma mentioned who wasn't in. Besides, the person who made that list is known for making fake news.

Tron Bonne is in the background of one of the stages, so she might not be in and Proto Man would be a Megaman Shotoclone and they are avoiding having clones this time.

Poison i don't see fitting in a Marvel vs game. She'd be better of in a Capcom vs SNK game.

I agree about Haggar though.

Phoenix Wright fans may be in luck. The creator stepped in and said that if fans show enough interest he would talk to Nitsuma about it. Nitsuma later said that if it happened, he would end up adding Phoenix. This was all stated on the Comiccon stream.

Hey if this happens that means they'll most likely add another Marvel character.

Granted, whe they said Wright wasn't in they hinted at Edgewroth making it in. So it's probably Edgewroth who's in. I still say Franziska Von Karma would fit better.

They said he won't be in. They did hint at Edgewroth making it in though.

While she would play differently from Hulk, I think many and Capcom as well might consider her a bit redundant in light of him being in this game. I think her odds of being in are pretty low.

I wouldn't be so sure, especially since wouldn't be like her cousin at all. Have you seen her series?

I did say she'd play diffrenrly from her cousin, but the fact is she's a hulk. With slots so limiting, I think many would consider her inclusion redundant when theres a wide diverse selection of others that could be put in. I wouldnt mind seeing She-Hulk in this but I really think Capcom is going for more variety across the board. I think her chances of being in are slim. If Hulk wasnt in for whatever reason, I think she'd have had a better shot.

Mega Man should be the original
Zero should be in since they pretty much already have him and his moveset together from TvC, and he was awesome.
Tronne Bonne had better return though.
And for the love of god, Dr. Wily needs to finally be added as a playable character to represent the villians of the Mega Man series.

Four characters from the Mega Man universe would be fine by me.

Forget Zero. Roll needs to come back. This game will not be anywhere near as fulfilling if I can't turn a character's arm into a vacuum and hit someone over the head with it.

I think 4 characters is too much. Considering the size of the roster, I think they should aim for 2 -3 per franchise. I want Megaman X in this. Original and Legend already got their slots in the games. I think X would be great and would have more interesting moves than the originals especially since his combat and abilities are more tied to his suit and upgrades

Honestly though, I would be ok if they did X. After playing Zero in TvC, he needs to be in this though.

I think not likely. She, like the Servebot was more of a joke character more than anything. I think they are going for something a bit more serious.
