With Mega Man Legends 3, Mega Man Universe, and Mega Man Online (which probably isn't being released outside of Asia; it'll even have an anime based on it)...why is Mega Man of ALL Capcom characters facing possible exclusion from MvC3?

They went lazy on everyone's alts. Honestly, Spider-Man is the only one actually has different costumes.

Maybe this is gonna be like SF4. Everyone had color swaps as usual and later they added costumes through DLC.

I know there are tons of Marvel villains and we get Modok, Super Skrull and Shuma. If it wasn't for Zero, the Big 3 from the Avengers and Hulk and Spidey I wouldn't be buying this game. Marvel vs. Capcom 2 had the better roster in my opinion.

MODOK is in for the lulz, and you never know, he may be awesome.

Shuma is in for the Japanese.

Super Skrull is in because he's awesome. (If you haven't read the Annihilation mini series, that would explain why you don't know how awesome he is.)

I've read it and wasn't impressed with him. MODOK in just for laughs is a waste of a spot considering how poor some of this roster is. Heck I'd be happy if Blaastarr or Annihilus was in the game. The Capcom side is just pathetic minus Zero.

Well MODOK got in because Capcom wanted a non-humanoid Marvel character that would provide some variety. That's who Marvel suggested. Plus he's being used quite often in the cartoon right now and I hear he's also showing up in the Hulk's comics more recently more often now.

Marvel didn't want Shuma, but Capcom convinced them to put him in because he's popular in Japan and an "important part of the series history."(their exact words). Not too fond of this decision myself. But he's in and that's that.

Super Skrull is in because they didn't want to waste four slots on the F4 and he has all their powers and only takes up one.(Much better choice)
