Howard the Duck is so misunderstood. People need to take the time to look beyond a failed Lucas Film movie that changed as much about the character as say the Japanese Spider-Man changed about Spider-Man and realize in the comics he's actually an intriguing fun character.

One of my favorite appearances by Howard was during Generation X and then the subsequent Daydreamers mini.

Howard the Duck, Franklin Richards, Artie and Leech, and Man-Thing...in one comic! It was comedy gold.

I'd be okay with Howard the Duck. He's no MODOK, but he'd do. I'd prefer the Impossible Man or maybe Slapstick, though.

I think they'd make for much better fighters with their powers and abilities. They definetly have versatility on their side.

Corny to you. I find plenty of them quite fun. The game is not meant to be taken seriously, as far as I'm concerned. If it were, Thor, Phoenix, and the Hulk would easily own practically everyone else. So throw who may or may not be a better fighter right out the window, 'cause that's entirely up to the programmers' arbitrary whims. That leaves entertainment value. The idea of kicking Storm's ass with a talking duck makes me giggle, so I'm all for Howard the Duck's inclusion. The idea of shapeshifting into a chair and pummeling others with yourself as the Impossible Man sounds like fun, so I'd be down for his inclusion. Et cetera.
