Homecoming Marvel's Spider-Man Costume!? - Part 2

This is just a minor detail but does anyone think that the mask and gloves will be clearly separate pieces from the rest of the torso section? I mean in the Raimi and Webb suits they looked like they were apart of his torso as one piece. Which I always thought made it look awkward whenever Peter took of the mask. Having the mask and gloves be separate pieces could help with the whole homemade look they want.

I'd also echo the sentiment that I hope Peter doesn't get the classic suit from Tony. I don't think its that far fetched that he could make something decent looking from materials a teen shouldn't have too hard of a time getting.

Plus, it'd just be a cool visual. Peter sitting at his computer with his mask and gloves off but the remainder of the suit still on, taken from TAS/SSM.

I am sure we will see a couple versions of the suit. Ones that are full one peice. And others that can be taken apart. Which would be good for certain scenes.

Did a quick edit from one of the pics above. What do you guys think of the colour?

Too much green in the blue?
Yes please.

I'd like that for the final suit. Would rather have something a bit more homemade to begin with. Then a uniform-type thing for his time at the Acadamy. Then this when he leaves for NYC at the end.

Edited the blue a bit more. (Right)

I think y'all would be happy with this.

You know what? They can keep the colors dsrk. Just change the front/back spider. No raised webbing, change the pattern and eye shape and you'll have a completely different suit.

Armpit webs optional.

This is EXACTLY what I was talking about. Great job, it makes that beautiful costume look even better. Makes a world of difference!

I don't need a bright blue to be honest. Also you have to keep in mind that Spider-Man will be standing next to several Marvel heroes. Too bright and he'll stick out in a bad way.

This is a colorful lineup, melvintwj's Spider-Man manip would look SPECTACULAR in the mix. I don't think it would stick out like a sore thumb at all.

I've got a pretty dumb question.

I'd like to see them move away from the lenses this time around, and I've seen some pretty decent fan-made costumes utilizing a one-piece fabric mask. My question is, how the hell do people see through the eyes if they're made of white fabric?

If it's thin enough, you can see through it. It's like morphsuits, you can see through em but it's kinda weird. It's not like crystal clear or anything, but enough to get by

Loooove the light blue. Definitely need to see it in the MCU

And then in post-production they can digitally white out Holland's eyes if they are visible through the fabric?

That's the way to go, in my book.

They can definitely do that in post. If you look at the ASM2 set pics for example, Andrew's eyes are visible through the lenses in the suit. In post, they added the solid, reflective layer to hide his eyes.

Fabric just wouldn't look great on film next to other costumes. I don't see any problems with oens. More so in the event peter upgrades and have like night vision lens or something of that caliber. Only issue is will the lens be reflective or be solid white.

I'd like something like that for Holland's Spidey suit. It looks home made enough.

too homemade imo. If we have to have a home made costume first, I don't want it looking too close to the classic suit. the eventual costume switch would just feel redundant

the home made version is where you can get creative, and as long as Spidey suits up with the classic suit in the end of Civil War/in the beginning of Spider-man 2017, they can make the home made version as radical as they want, for all I care

i wouldn't mind seeing something like this (minus the blue glow and a different logo)
