No one is mentioning the Ditko-esque tick spider?

Just getting in this now guys.
Suit is dope! I do find inspirations from a few different eras, but mainly Romita Sr. The "black bands" add an "aerodynamic" aesthetic, along with some other lines--sort of like the first TASM suit. I dig it, it's its own thing, and it's innovative. Plus, we've yet to see a full body shot. The texture of the suit looks dope. It's what I've been wanting. The red fabric has a micro texture to it smaller than any previous Spidey suits. I love how that there's still a belt and subtle things look subtle. Are those web cartridges on the belt? Also, if you freeze frame, the web shooters might be visible on the wrists. All I see is black, though.

If you flip the image quoted above, it may be CGI, but the red fabric seems to look jagged?

Anyway, 9/10.

The thick black bands there look like examples of change just for the sake of it.

I understand it was hard to improve on the Raimi or even TASM 2 costumes but I'm still not a fan of that added detail just to differentiate.

I kinda feel like this too, especially with the black wrapping around the back of the suit; it's just unnecessary.

What even is under-roos, I misheared him at first as "on the roof" :')

I think it's Stark just playing on the word "underwear", because Spidey's suit will essentially be pretty skin-tight.

I first heard it as "under-rouse" which doesn't make sense at all.

He could also be saying "under Russ(o brothers was this Captain America movie directed...). :oldrazz:

This will definitely keep us sustained until the next bit of news. :funny:

I need a pic of Raimi, Holland, TASM 1 and 2 all next to each other rn.

I've honestly really liked every one of the live action suits we've gotten in the films so far, they've all been pretty close to the source and all instantly recognizable as Spidey.

Gotta say when I first saw it I was disappoint but it's already growing on me. Mainly the eyes and symbol. I prefer the bigger eyes and I think the mask squinting is lame unless they can make it work in the film, the effect is well done and design of it it is great, just the concept seems stupid and unnecessary. I have a feeling by the end of civil war I'll love it but for now, not so much. And the symbol is way too small. Everything else I love though.

Underoos is a brand of children's underwear.

I've liked all of the costumes as well, even the much derided The Amazing Spider-Man costume. Spidey's costume is easy to adapt, it's easy to get right.

Underoos is kid's skivvies that were mad popular back in the day. Cameron Diaz wore some dancing in the mirror in Charlie's Angels.

I adore the raised silver webbing. I still think Raimi's suit is one of the best comic book movie suits.

He probably calls him "underoos" to imply that he's a kid.

Has anyone mentioned the fact that the eyes have like camera shutters?
You know, the ones that PHOTOGRAPHERS must know all about?

Not from the posts I've seen.
But glad to see I'm not the only one seeing it that way.

I like it, but don't love it.

It's obviously Spidey, but in some ways he looks a bit like Deadpool. :funny:

Can't wait for them to reveal a pic of the actual suit and not a CGI model. Right now the suit is my second favorite behind the SM/SM2 costumes.
