So, I decided to give Leviathan a try...even though I felt my interest in Mass Effect was almost non-existant after beating the game and being dissapointed with the whole Earth mission at the end.

But I gotta say...Leviathan totally got me back into the ME universe! I REALLY love the story in this dlc!!

If anything I'm holding out hope for a Jack/Miranda reunion in Citadel and I expect it to be expletive laden and to be glorious.

I was honestly surprised ME3 didn't have Ashley and Miranda working together--since they were both the "cover babes," I figured they'd butt heads at some point.

lol Seeing that it'll threading the same ground as that one fight that almost happened with Miranda and Jack not cause of you, but because they just didn't like each other, I can see why it wasn't too big of a deal to not reproduce it. Besides I made my chose when i split with Ashely. Nothing more should come from that. And No she should not fight to win me back. Remember when we discussed that the other characters should have alternatives if your Shepard can only choose on character? Hell in my version I'd put jack with Vega and Ashley with Jacob etc(just suggestions )just to see how those would work out, since they made it that way with tali and garrus. Hell with a little push from your character playing match maker or not even having to do so . If you've made your chose to be with someone already that is. those characters should have other chose's besides you. at least in that respect. hehe.

Me and Matt said that all the women don't have to Have just Shepard as love interest once and that some should ether be just friends with him or have some one else in mind as some they want to be with that on the crew. In prior threads to this with this series. it was long time ago. I'd just find it interesting if they did what they did with Tali and Garrus by hooking those two up , with that same idea with other characters in the crew or formerly on it as well. that's all.

I think Jack & Vega would've worked, as well as Liara and Kaidan. It feels weird that they'd just pair Tali and Garrus, but no one else.

I find Shepard's friendship with Liara to be far more satisfying than a romance. Romance cheapens their bond. It breaks it down to the most base denominator. It, IMO, undermines Liara as a character and breaks her down to someone who is just driven by her need for her man. I prefer the two as friends and find it far more rewarding that way. When they are friends, their dialogue is just as rewarding and it shows a bond stronger than romantic love.

Interesting points, I choose Tali not only cause she was my favorite but I just felt that she made for the best romance story. She talks about how many people treat her more as a second-class person because of her race. So it just makes for the perfect ending where the famous hero falls for someone that is often not treated fairly, or it does in my book anyway. While she wasn't getting the respect from others she ended up with the love of the person that everyone else depended on.

I'm actually kinda glad they didn't start pairing everyone up with a partner. I thought the Tali and Garrus match was absolutely perfect and wasn't too on-the-nose or overdone.

Yeah I agree honestly, as somebody who primarily romances Tali - her otherwise ending up with Garrus was pretty spot on and well done. I think if everyone started hooking up it would start veering into a weird place.

Tali annoys the living crap outta me. Half of it is that accent.

Ashley was a speciesist beach. I thought she was supposed to be the canon romance when I played ME1, so I avoided her (cause I'm a hipster like that). She did end up redeeming herself a little by the time Virmire rolled around, but at that point, I had already decided to save Carth- er, I mean, Kaiden.

Miranda hated my guts initially, and I didn't trust her either. The gratuitous a** shots also turned me away from the character.ME3 made me wish I had romanced her though.

Jack is crazy.

I romanced Liara in ME1 because she was shy and naive and interested in everything, and I thought that was cute. Then she does a complete 180 in ME2&3, and that freaked me out and saddened me. And then it turns out she totally is the canon LI (or at least, it felt that way), and I was a bit disappointed by that.

When Kaiden hit on me in ME3, I was super surprised, and I felt like a total d-bag for rejecting him. I actually considered accepting, because at that point, I was fed up with the wishy-washy Liara romance. Alas, my Shepard didn't roll that way. But then, I didn't think Kaiden did either. Does Ashley hit on Femshep if she saved her instead of Kaiden on Virmire?

I saw the Geth Juggernaut in play and it looks amazing. The melee stuns enemies and then drains their shields to replenish your own.

I think they've done a really great job with the MP classes and experimenting with some mechanics. I hope when ME4 rolls around they stray away from our current 6 classes and take what they've learned from the MP classes and flesh that out: stuff like melee classes, consumable abilities, support abilities and the like were very welcome addition.

Before I forget to answer this yeah I remember when they said they were introducing melee and my mind wondered where'd they go with that. Seeing that in the co-op styled mp, I'm very pleased with the result's. i really liked the character that was able to upper cut and spin kick the enemies in it.

I hope it makes it into the single player of this. I like to see my Shepard pull that off. I've been into that since that hint with thane martial art's assassination moves and want to pull some if not all of what said in the shadow breaker files. though now it look like that won't completely happen this will do just fine.

Than again I'd also like them to finally put in a crisis armor suit and with that I can use all version of the Omni weapon configuration on the fly to make it unique while I'm an adept as well or any class for that matter. the all purpose armor.

Ok I can only dream. and to some people yeah they might think it's too op. but that will be awesome to use in only the most hard core play settings. which the only to use that.

while I did say this in the sense I'd like to see it and I'd would still find it interesting. Now that doesn't mean every single one of the crew members or former crew members that are sqaud mates should hook up. I mean some. others can date out side the crew for balance sake ( like in real life where your buddies do the same )and it'll make more sense too. Any way it was interesting thing to think about and explore.

I think with Ashely your doing most of the work no matter what sex you are.

I don't think it's possible to do FemShep/Ash. I think the only females who sex it up with FemShep are Liara and Traynor IIRC.

I remember in ME2 I was totally going to romance Jack with FemShep only to have her shut me down after I thought things were progressing well. I was a sad panda.

Well I started on ME3 and after awhile I feel even more that Liara is the cannon romance. (If a movie is ever made based on the trilogy I would bet that Liara would be the romance they use. But I guess I would rather it be her than Ashley. I don't like how in my case Tali isn't mentioned at all during the beginning of the game. I know Earth was under attack but once you escape Shepard could of atleast asked so where is Tali or whoever the player's LI is. Also when you get your email set up you have no messages from your LI. I just feel Bioware should of added more unique scenes to show that you are in a relationship.

Tali is currently occupied, get further in the game. Some of them do e-mail you but most of the love interests are in the middle of a situation where communication is difficult or not an option. Also Tali comes up during a conversation with Ashley (who was my ME1 LI) if you hit a certain conversation option during one of the visits.

Iv always romanced tali. I always tried to go with someone else but always ended up with tali. Im gonna start another full series play through when the last DLC drops and this time i WILL make myself romance Jack. I think i can get over her bald ass head in 2 cuz shes wicked hot in 3.

Im also not sure who to drop, Kaiden or Ashley, i hated both.

I have been told that if you are looking for sheer content Kaidan is the way to go in 3 so if you don't have a character preference then that is the one I'd suggest. I tend to find Kaidan a little dry so I usually save Ash even if sometimes I want to whack her upside the head for some of the crap she says.

Lol. Yea that's what I did with my first run through of ME3 but I never saw any Kaiden content. After he got all banged up that was it. He went and did his thing and I finished saving the galaxy

I kept him for a play through so no not every one does that. but the first time around in the first installment of ME I chose Ashley and have re thought stuff since that time during ME2 . I have happy I gave another shot. though why they made the same plot for him and ashely interchangeable in 3 when dealing with Udina makes no sense to me. other then I'm fine with giving him another chance.

I kept him on my Renegade playthrough but I don't think I ever used him. He was just such a boring character.

My second Shepard gave her a really hard time from the moment they met It really bugged me in ME3 when there were forced lines and silent moments of mourning from Shepard, they were not that close -heck, they didn't even like each other!
