[BLACKOUT]Yes that I know, but they can still use their biotics without amps right? In the movie it almost seemed as though you couldn't do a thing without it.[/BLACKOUT]

[BLACKOUT]Edit: I cant remember the specifics but humans get an implant to be able to control or amplify their biotics, and then there are add-ons that can be changed whenever. But the moment in the movie doesn't fit in with that.[/BLACKOUT]

My wife was wondering why too. As did I...it seems without their battery pack they couldn't use any Biotics at all....which makes no sense.

Yes exactly, I wonder why they would do such a mistake?

The guy who wrote the anime has never written anything ME related before. I'm guessing he looked at the wiki for a sec (if that) shrugged his shoulders and moved on.

Well it says in the credits that Casey Hudson was involved though, so you would think that they had gotten such a simple thing right.

I doubt he was really all that involved beyond doing some marketing for it. He's got a Producer credit the same way Stan Lee got one for Avengers.

The Dead Space anime was exactly the same way, with a lot of little basic details wrong. The publisher contracts these things, but beyond maybe some art assets or general plot synopsis I get the impression there's not really that much communication between the development studio and the animation one.

Yeah I guess you're right. It's a real shame that they get those little things all wrong.

Yeah little stuff like that always takes me out of the moment.

As I said before they usually have someone there to over see stuff like that from EA since they are more likely the people that licensed it out then Bioware since they deal with the marketing and make others out side of games do those projects for them. And the person that was sent didn't care enough to tell them what was accurate or not. He/ she was just collecting a pay check. there are some people that do that unfortunately. But they are supposed to be the people that look over that stuff and don't and those things happen cause of it. It happens at marvel with their books all the time, it's not like it doesn't happen in other places of their other mediums .

leviathan was meh. finally played it. cool that harbinger is the first reaper...a ****ing shame you dont fight him and he doesnt do anything lol

That's one messenger that's making sure he doesn't get killed after he delivers what he has to say. lol Must have saw 300 long time ago.

So Mass Effect 3 is pretty amazing so far! :awesome: I just got stuck on the citadel for like two hours doing nothing but side quests.

Do you have Leviathan and From Ashes?

I definitely recommend them if this is your first time through, particularly Leviathan.

Also if you've already got it, I'd say the best placement for it is after you've finished the Geth/Quarian war.

When I asked a bit back how you can end up killing your crew off in 2, as I knew you could, but never had it happen, I looked it up on youtube. I knew you could end up with any crew member dead, but I didn't know it could get this bad (that, and that's one ugly Shep, lol).

After this video I watched a 10 min, best lines in ME, video (the Shepard in it looked like an 80's porn star), and was lmao. I forgot how much humor there was in the game. Part of it is also because I rarely am an ass to ppl in my paragon run, so I never saw some of it. I'd link it, but it has cussing in it, and I don't want an infraction.

Also, as I'm continuing 2, it's amazing how much extras I was missing out on without having played 1. It's not always something major, but it adds up. Various things like minor side quest characters from 1 being where there was just empty space when I played 2 before. The asari scientist working under Saren appearing in the area with Grunt, or the woman who asked you to off two criminals in one being a social worker in Omega are two that come to mind. As much as I liked 2 before, it's even better now :woot:. Of course these are things you all knew a long time ago, just new to me, lol.

No, I don't have any of the DLC. Only what came with the Trilogy pack. And I don't have any money to purchase them at this time.

Fair enough, if you haven't already you should download the Extended Cut (which is free).

Oh man, wait until you see Conrad in 2/3.

For some reason Conrad never showed up in 2 for me, but he did in 3.

I think I'm going to limit myself to just 2 ME 3 DLC. Which two do you guys recommend? I'm guessing From Ashes for Javik. So Leviathan, or Omega? My first, only ME 3 run was sans DLC.

Including Extended Cut?

Yeah, bought it day one, and I finished my first run through before the extended cut came out.

Oh, you meant get 2 DLC including the cut? No. I meant purchase 2 DLC. The EC is free, so didn't mean it as well. A lot of times if I really like a game I go crazy and get all the DLC, like with DA Origins. This time, I've already beat the game once, and just felt like not going overboard. Especially considering the DLC is $10-15 unlike the usual $5-10 with other games. So I'm just looking for the best 2 outta 3 $10+ DLC's out for it atm.

If you're not going to replay the game with Javik at all you'll miss a lot of the value from getting that DLC as it's a bit short by itself. I would say Leviathan is the one you should definitely get & then it depends whether you'd rather see Javik & how much you like the Aria T'Loak character. If money is the issue you could always wait for a deal and get all 3.

Dont be cheap and get all of them.

But if you are going to be cheap, i say go with From Ashes and Leviathan. They seem to directly tie into the overall narrative a wee bit better than Omega. Theyre all good tho, so ya cant really go wrong.

K, thanks. Also, it is being cheap, but with reason. I have the money, but I'm comfortable with just getting the top two, and skipping all DLC from now on. I have way too many games all begging for DLC. It adds up after awhile. All 3 of these = $35. Just a bit more, and I could pick Borderlands 2 up, or get all the DLC for Disgaea 4, and so on. $20 of DLC on ME 3 I can handle, it's a great game. For nearly $40 though that's approaching the price of a new game. It starts to become harder to justify DLC purchases at that point. Though to be fair, I did get about that much $$ worth of Dragon Age 2 DLC, so I've made far worse purchases, lol.

To another topic, Mordin cracks me up. I forgot his line about being busy trying to figure out how a sexually transmitted disease from a Varren was being passed around the ship. I still want to trigger his singing bit though, have yet to do that.
