Mass Effect 3 - - - - - Part 14

I think they can manage to be the downfall equally if it isn't based around Shepard.

I finally got my copy of the Trilogy in the mail. :D

Get off here & start playing! :woot:

Let me know when you get to this part.

:o

I always wanted to eventually play this on the PC. Pisses me off that there's no official 360 controller support for it. I don't understand the thought process behind that decision.

That's surprising. I feel like someone would have made a patch for that.

There are a couple patches, but I think they never got everything 100% to work like on the consoles. Maybe that changed. I'll have to look into that again. I just don't understand why Bioware ported the games to the PC, and didn't give you an option to choose. Especially since most games nowadays come with controller support.

I wonder if it has to do with the different puzzles/minigames for the console vs the pc (not that you couldn't do the pc puzzles with the controller).

But I always preferred the mouse's precision over a controller anyway.

I'd guess it's because they didn't think it would be needed. It's a shooting game, and shooting games universally control better on the mouse (even if third person movement controls better on a controller).

It's always nice to have the option, especially when they already had everything mapped out in the first place.

I thought I'd seen everything in Citadel but this time around I saw a scene where Joker tells a story about getting into an Atlas and killing a bunch of Cerberus troops. It was hilarious. No idea how I missed it the first time.

I want a branching video that shows every possible part of the Mass Effect series.

I was just about to, but now I have to go out and do something with my family. :(

Is that from the first one?
Your Mass Effect family? :woot:

I really like the beginning of the 1st game.

Decided to start a new trilogy playthrough as a Vangaurd today.
Nice, I've played as Vanguards & Infiltrators on ME3 multiplayer but never tried them for any of the campaigns. Soldier ME1, Engineer ME2, Adept & Sentinel ME3.

Yeah, Cpl. Jenkins is one of my favorite characters. I really like his arc in the sequels, too.

Vanguard is really only good from ME2 on.

Joker, Kasumi and Wrex all have hidden encounters in the casino that don't unlock until you've done most of the other hang outs with the crew.

Hmm, I'm really wondering if my first playthrough of the original should be as a male or female. I played as a male in both 2 and 3, but I also did my Insanity playthough as FemShep. Plus I really love having the option to play as a female in games like this, mainly because there are few games with a real female protagonist.

Nope. :csad:

Well, Mark Meer's voice acting really improves in games 2 and 3 (particularly 3), but he can be kinda wooden in 1 if you're playing Paragon (he's hilarious as a frustrated-with-absolutely-everything Renegade, though).

Ive never found anything wrong with the male Shep voice acting

I think I like my FemShep more than regular Shepard. With MaleShep, I was way too nice. FemShep though, has no problem busting balls when necessary, but still walks the Paragon Path. My MaleShep was probably 90-95% Paragon, my Femshep is more 65% Paragon and 35% Renegade.

Hmm, when I played ME2, I did a Paragon male and a Renegade female, so I just might do a Paragon female this time around. I'll be playing this again later on for the trophies, so I'll check out this hilarious Renegade male when I do a Hardcore playthrough.

Be sure to do the sidequest on the Citadel pertaining to a Hanar's religious freedoms vs a frustrated C-Sec agent. :)

Yeah I though male Shep was fine in ME1. My femShep was always a complete renegade.
