Mass Effect 3 - Part 3

Eh, they're fictional futures. Specifically, ME features a united Earth navy, so the ranks could've easily changed and/or expanded in the process of merging all of Earth's armed forces together. It's not really a big deal.

lol yet I bet if theres still an army and air force their just not showing them or mentioning them? And calling every one marine is just not viable, if those other still exsist. .

As I said them force integrating is the same thing halo did mistake wise. it's not over bad it's not great ether. As soapy complains about some times about it looking like another game. I won't mind it if a few game play element mirror another game.
But maybe the structure wise and with the story should had more fore thought. other wise I have no major issues with this awesome game

Why would they need an army and air force if Earth is united under one government? All they'd need at that point is a police force to cover Earth and a space force--the Alliance Navy--to cover external threats from space. The N7 Marines are a subset of the Navy that, much like the US Marines, deal with the land ops that the Navy isn't necessarily equipped for. But, since they want a force that can both cruise around in ships and head down to planets as necessary, it seems a bit more hybridized than the US Navy/Marine dynamic.

I don't know, it doesn't bother me to have somewhat jumbled ranks from various armed forces in the Alliance Navy's ranking system. But to each his own.

well the lates rifle has an M8 if your N7 mean navy which I doubt BTW . the M in M 8 must mean marine. doubt full.

Again, combat gear is combat gear. I very much doubt that anyone is so married to proper procedure that they're gonna complain that Shepard is combining a Marine rifle and Navy armor to fight for the survival of the entire universe.

to answer yourquestion, on the "Air force" thing. well Garrus's people have an airforce as shown in that trailer with the thrasher maw vs the reaper

you know this one

the navy I'm is out exploring alot it's just make sense that's all.

As for the u.s marines that was them copying the marines that started from england and on to the states. yeah the(u.s marines) were the land force at one time and they also did air and deep diving too for the navy, til the seals came into play during the 60's due to marines needing help with under bombs which they couldn't handle and the seals took over and even the marines take back seat to them in jasoc in land seal and air now.

Also due to a mistake marines made that got them kicked out of Special warfare part the miltary and their not apart of Jsoc. If ME is Representative of united state marines subset it's fine. which it's not cause find it better that it's not . but seals should still be around giving the marines orders if its the former. As for combat gear. nope, indeed no one should complain about shep doing that at all as you stated. I do agree with you corp.

I'm just saying, I found it funny. but I don't have a real problem. this game is too awesome to not enjoy it for what it's worth.

Earth isn't united under one government, the Systems Alliance is the agreed upon spearhead for the planet concerning all space affairs but Earth still has all of its governments still and such.

I wonder how they will implement the "decisions import" feature in ME3.

I read somewhere that they won't be using an interactive comic like in ME2.

I could see them weaving the choices and decisions you made in ME1 and ME2 as part of Shep's trial at the beginning of ME3.

like, during the trial, the panel of judges will ask Shep questions about his/her history and prior actions/decisions from the previous games, and the player will get to choose the responses. and that will create Shep's backstory from the prior games.

Heh well semantics aside, obviously when I say N7 armor I mean:

N7Armor.png

Anything else I would consider to be a different suit and would call by its variation title (in this case: Defender).

So there.

Don't all the pieces of armor in the game have the words "N7" on it? I figured N7 armor would be whatever you're wearing.

no brolly they don't, the armor I got for the Dlc from the illusive mans doesn't have those it's ether blank or has the Cerberus sign on them. though they did inspire the latest weapons and defense part for the new N7 gear for 3. they upgrade their tech based on what Cerberus did. I'm assuming you didn't do any of the dlc ? if you didn't do shadow BROKER andt he last of dlc for ME2 you might be missing out on something cool for ME3. you get different out come but if you feel you don't need it's cool. you won't really need it to enjoy this game.

it won't be any different from when Meranda was questioning you on your past in that shuttle before entering the SR 2 Normandy andafter you escape the Lazarus space station lab to see that your in perfect work order, health wise.

from what it sounds like you have the ps3 version?

no.....I have the 360 version.

oh I see, My bad. The way you were talking about the importing sounded like your on the ps3.
it shouldn't be that different from the last time. it might be cause you mentioned the interactive comic. which I thought was only for that platform.

that's ok.

they did release the interactive comic as DLC for the 360 after the PS3 version came out.

I liked that idea, so it will be interesting to see what they do in ME3.

btw......isn't the demo supposed to come out this month?

the only demo I remember came with the latest battle field game which when it came out it for both the co-op and single player of ME3. if they're gonna re release it to larger part of the public I don't remember.

I did all DLC, armor and missions. There are at least 2 chest pieces in the game that aren't DLC that support the N7 insignia. Those being the Aegis Vest and Shield Harness. So it's not all, but just 2.

I always done my armor in N7 colors anyway, so whatever I wear is N7 armor to me. :D

hmm I guess you forgot the other armors didn't all have the n7 patch then or you didn't use them much

I mistakenly said all, and I was wrong I admit. But I was half right.:oldrazz:

hmmmm..........according to this article, the demo will be released in January, the Battlefield players just got early access to that demo.

So...only Battlefield 3 owners get the demo? Or everyone will get to try it eventually?

it's supposed be every one eventually. but I'll mostlikely have the game before the second demo since they haven't put a date and haven't talked about it since.

I'm not sure I understand what exactly Battlefield 3 buyers are getting access to. Is it the whole demo, both SP and MP, or just the MP portion, and then SP will be released to everyone simultaneously?

You're not united under one government! :cmad:

Hey guys question. I beat Mass Effect 1 & am now on Mass Effect 2. But I missed some doing Bring Down The Sky in Mass Effect 1. So if I go back & play a new game + of Mass Effect 1 adding in Bring Down The Sky. I would not need to do Mass Effect 2 again would I ?
