Mass Effect 3 - - - - - Part 14

I don't care what it is, just give us more Mass Effect already.

Garrus can stand in a corner and calibrate the recipes.

Replayed through the Mass Effect trilogy recently. The WHOLE final battle is poor for me. It just felt like another mission, not a complete war against the reapers.

It lacked a unique enemy, which the first two games had. Really the [blackout]Illusive Man should have been the final boss battle, having been completely indoctrinated by the Reapers[/blackout]

I'm surprised one of the DLCs never fleshed that out with some of the cut content, it really seemed like they wanted to make it bigger in scope but got pared down for time.

I really it would have expanded on ME2's Suicide Mission. You'd utilize your War Assets similar to ME2's squad; giving them special orders that would impact the game (amount o enemies you face, characters dying, the ending)

I have a story idea for Mass Effect 4

You are a spectre and There is a cold war between citadel space and Terminus Systems and There a organization in the shadows trying to kick the war to the next

your mission discovering the identity of the organization to know their motives and stoping them

I had a sort of similar idea before:

As for the enemy, I have long held that the way to go is almost a Cold War type setting. No single enemy is going to top the Reapers. But what happened after Hitler died and Japan was nuked? The allies turned on each other as they tried to figure out their places in the post-WW2 era. I'd like to see something similar. I want to see alliances form, galactic politics turn into a bitter state of affairs in post-reconstruction. Human vs Turian, Asari vs Geth, Quarian vs Krogan, etc. I'd like to see some galactic chaos as each race tries to advance themselves now that the common enemy is gone. I think that is the best way to take the franchise.

I think the Yahg stand out to me as being potentially great badguys for the future of the series.

I'm not against the main character not being in the Alliance also.

I think the issue was that it wasn't very cinematic. It was more you just running down streets taking out waves of enemies. sigh

Here is how I imagined it should have played out:

Commander Shephard is onboard the Normandy as ship weaves in and out of buildings dodging enemy fire from the ground and reapers. Buildings crashing all around as Reapers tear through the city. You take a small shuttle from the Normandy thanks to it getting you deeper into the city safely, from there you are using a mini-gun like weapon to take out enemy troops while the Normandy covers you. A massive skyscraper crashes down as a reaper plows through it. Normandy distracts it. You eventually get hit and the shuttle crashes. You and a small team blast your way past enemy soldiers and meet up with another squad in a broken down building where you make a plan to take down Harbinger who is near the center of the city and near the teleporter that could take you to the weapon in orbit.

They know they can't kill Harbinger, but they can distract him enough to get Shephard and a squad to the teleporter. That's where things change up a bit. You select 2 characters who will lead two teams. You get to play those two characters as they lead their teams to missile launchers to fire at the Harbinger as a distraction. Then after the final missile hits you jump back into Shephard who with his team is charge towards the teleporter across a destroyed city landscape, shooting your way past the last remaining enemy troops and finally you reach the weapon.

That's how I wanted the end battle to be like.

No one ever talks about the multiplayer here. Does no one here play it?

I finally started doing Platinum only when I'm in a full party. Still can only do Gold with just randoms.

I was doing the multiplayer bit a great deal earlier this year, just kinda dropped off. Kinda lost interest after unlocking my Geth Prime and N7...what she called? The one with the sword?

N7 Shadow.

I'm nearly done maxing out my manifest and still haven't list interest. Just need to get all Ultra Rare weapons to level ten. Which the game refuses to give me. At this point I'm just getting level IV consumables.
