Has anyone read the ME3 story in the new Game Informer? Story spoilers abound...Ahh, I can't wait any longer for this game!

Yea i need to re-reserve the CE. I think ill go ahead and do that with Amazon.

My mom pre-ordered the CE for me at gamestop as a Christmas gift. So I'll be getting the goodies that come with the CE by default, and the pre-order stuff. :D

I loved 1&2 But I've been thinking of just renting this one on Gamefly since I stop playing after I pass the game once or twice and the exploring is not all that great after a while!

However I just read a new article in GameInformer and the screenshots really hyped me up! I also read that it has 4-player Online?..Co-Op or what??

Yeah it's co-op in a separate mode. You create or choose a character (you have many different races to select from) and when you complete missions in this separate mode it feeds back into your single player, helping Commander Shepard.

What were the spoilers in the Game Informer article? I'd love to know, PM me.

Last two are too small for me to read, but the first three? Man....the game just gets better and better. That section on Mars sounds intense.

I really hope the mysterious person standing in with TIM during the section on Mars isn't Miranda. If they do bring her back that is.:o

Mass Effect 3 Requires Origin, No Steam Launch

In today’s edition of “News You Saw Coming”, BioWare’s community coordinator, Chris Priestly, has told Mass Effect fans that Commander Shepard’s epic quest to save Earth from the reapers will not take place on Steam due to the set of “restrictive terms of service”, which also led to EA pulling ttles like Crysis 2 and Dragon Age 2 from Steam last year. On the plus side maybe now the 250 peices or pre-order exclusive, limited edition, collectors edition, extra character more powerfulllyer weapon exclusive soundtrack (based on the game) digital artbook if you buy new extra suit skins gain extra XP and money crap nonesense with EA games will be streamlined. If I recall with Mass Effect 2 (which I didn't like and wont be buying this) after buying the game I had to go to the Bioware website and download a whole bunch of seperate crap to a folder than unzip it. It took tens of minutes. With steam all my exclusive pre-order tat that goes to Team Fortress 2 autmatically gets added like magic.

hmm I didn't have that problem cause I bought the collectors for ME2 and got most of the DLC free since bioware was doing that with the Cerberus pass with all buyers that bought it new. and I'm expecting the same with this. All I did was go my Bioware profile through the game got the downloads and to my files and down loaded through "win rare" it's the same way I did it for TF2 with only few minor differences. And I was able to add my ME2 hard copy on to steam in none steam games. steam stated us users can do that.

It just meant I can play the game on another computer that way. steams awesome that way.

I don't really see what the problem is with using Origin. It works pretty much the same way as Steam. Is it because people are lazy and don't feel like having two different downloadable game services on their computer?

I don't think it's about laziness, it's just an unnecessary pain in the ass. Plus, it just sets a bad precedent. If Origin is a huge success, then every publisher is going to want their own "Steam".

the point is it's that EA wanted to have access to getting the money and even more money(over pricing) them selves and pulled out of steam to make their own thing to get their way. and may be sell stuff for even higher prices. it's a recession though and people aren't down for them trying to do that.

If you saw their CE for Crisis 2 you'd know that they do infact do that sort of thing.

Me ,though I will be getting this for my pc gaming I don't care for origin I'll be getting this game and DLC through bioware still. which my account is on.

I'm dealing with bioware. after this I'll still be on steam anyway.

What is in the CE?,I haven't heard anything for it!

this is why you need to get your info from only here or pick a fave video game site and stick to it's news like glue.

Here's the info you seek.
Video: Mass Effect 3 'N7 Collector's Edition' packed with bonus character, robotic canine

http://www.viddler.com/explore/Joystiq/videos/7323/

Not even BioWare's skilled scribes can insulate the Mass Effect universe from inappropriate procrastination. No matter the perils faced by the galaxy (in this case, it's about to be razed and strip-mined by a race of scary-voice sentient machines), players are likely to steer their avatars away from pressing matters in order to feed a kitty or buy some capsule toys. With that inevitability in mind, BioWare announced a while back that you can get a robotic doggy for your ship in Mass Effect 3. Now you can see it in the trailer above, snatched from Gamestop's website.

The artificial pet -- which you can probably pet, artificially -- is one of several cool bonuses included with the N7 Collector's Edition, and just one of a few you can play with when you're busy not saving civilizations from imminent eradication. The special package includes an N7 hoodie for Commander Shepard, alternate outfits for some of his squad, a Normandy avatar prop for Xbox Live, a fabric N7 patch, a 70-page art book, a fancy metal case, a digital soundtrack (by Clint Mansell), a lithographic print ...

Oh, and there's some important stuff too! The $80 admission fee nets you extra firepower, a currently "classified" bonus character, and a downloadable mission. Probably something about saving the world and whatnot.

plus now you get the N7 Warfare Gear
