The datapad app is awesome! :D I wish I had it during my first playthrough though, the messages from the app don't show up in the game.
looking at what jacob's and other are sayin in here

Now You Don’t Have To Waste Time Reading Mass Effect 3 Codec Entries On Your TV

Like many of BioWare’s games, Mass Effect 3 is chock full of optional reading materials about its history and characters. It’s interesting, but it can be a chore to read on your television. More »

What are your thoughts on the reaction to the game’s endings?
Casey Hudson: I didn’t want the game to be forgettable, and even right down to the
sort of polarizing reaction that the ends have had with people–debating
what the endings mean and what’s going to happen next, and what
situation are the characters left in. That to me is part of what’s
exciting about this story. There has always been a little bit of mystery
there and a little bit of interpretation, and it’s a story that people
can talk about after the fact.

Casey Hudson two months ago: All questions will be answered and you will build the story.

Casey Hudson today: We picked an ending that is polarizing and unclear so people can talk about it.

You're digging your grave deeper Mr. Hudson. Like I said, if Bioware has something to announce, announce it. Otherwise....just shut up.

F**king bioware, they told us we would get closure, now this crap. Bioware trolling us

Does drunk Tali really say that in the game?? :atp:

:wall:

I know that Bioware is not getting any money out of me for this game ( they've already lost my CE preorder ) until they provide clarity on this whole ending issue. :o

I think by the deafening silence from BW in the last few days they're in crisis mode and seeing how they can salvage this. I sincerely doubt they've planned any of this indoctrination business. Again, its interesting - even clever that the fans put it together, but I don't for a moment believe it was actually planned.

If that's the route that BW plans to go, then *shrug* I think its a shame because I will be utterly shocked if its free. I think there are less extreme ways about addressing the problems brought up by the end.

Why would Bioware respond to anything right now. The game isn't even out worldwide yet. Of course they aren't going to come out and basically admit that a portion of their game is bad when the game hasn't even come out worldwide.

Who says endings have to be clear? Hudson said all questions will be answered, well they were, it just so happens that some new questions popped up.

Like I said, I enjoyed the ending because it happened to fit my Shepard, but I don't think anyone can deny that Hudson sold something that wasn't there. He pulled a Peter Molyneux and promised things like every ending would be different from player to player. He made promises he either had no intent to keep or was unable to keep. It worked out well enough for me, but I get why folks are mad.

well......if your ending creates new questions.....that's not exactly answering ALL questions.......

Nah lol it's a msg from the datapad app. She does get drunk though. It's hilarious. :hrt:

Best moment in the whole damn series.

Sober Tali is already so adorable.

Does that mean Drunk Tali is 100x more adorable??!! :wow:

I'm listening to the Bombcast, and they came up with a cool idea. All those dumb fetch quests would have been much more tolerable if you had the option to send people out to do them for you, AssBro style. Plus that makes a hell of a lot more sense than Commander Shepard, savior of the galaxy, roaming from planet to planet trying to find junk he overhears people talking about.

Oh yea so do I, i guess I'm just of the mindset of well, been there done that. Eventually Bioware is gonna move on and some peoples choices will be made moot regardless come the next title.

No damn kidding man.

I always had that problem in the first game. Im like no dammit, i dont have time to do that s**t, I'm chasing a rogue spector!

Same thing happened here, which i was afraid of.

Its answering all previous questions. There's always going to be questions.

Nuances and semantics.........:o :cwink: :oldrazz:

anyways, since I haven't bought the game, I'm just going to sit back and wait to see how Bioware responds to this. If they leave the endings as is, well, that doesn't really bother me, I just won't buy the game......lol

but now, I need to hit up Youtube to find the Drunk Tali scene......:woot:

Dude, play the damn game. If you're a fan of the series, the last 10 minutes won't destroy that. Even if you think the end of the game blows ass, the rest is REALLY, REALLY good.

Here's what I think...

There will most definitely be something AFTER ME 3 that will be either ME 4 (Starting a new trilogy) or some kind of large DLC. The 3 different endings, when you think about it, would make 3 completely different ME universes and landscapes for another game... There are little things here and there throughout the game as well that imply something will come after, like Liara asking Shepard how he wants to be remembered etc

Also, whilst i agree that some kind of extended epilogue would have been nice, I certainly don't feel like the lack of it is worthy of the level of 'outrage'. The source of the outrage seems to be that the games ending and climax doesn't meet a lot of fans expectations, that doesn't mean the ending or the games themselves were actually bad.

Fenrir's post one page over (Which I won't quote since it had spoilers) was EXACTLY how I feel.

No matter how many little things I would have liked on top of the ending, the very fact that it left me with such an emotional impact means it worked. It might not be the ending we all wanted, but to call out and demand it be replaced is just unfair and as a writer myself, I couldn't think of anything more horrible and offensive to hear from an audience.

Whilst I don't want Bioware to be rude or show contempt in anyway, right now their priority should be standing by their writers. Sure, doing things for the fans and supporting them is one thing, but if you are a company who would throw the writers of your massive series under the bus over a little fan rage, what kind of message would that send? That you can't stick to your guns? That you buckle and compromise your vision over fan pressure, like Epic?
