I know this is speculation but if they only had a meaningful cameo in the movie like Spider Man or Hulk that would have pushed the movie over $300 million guaranteed. Hopefully for the sequel there is a cameo like this

Both this and Superman are successes for Marvel and DC. Anyone saying otherwise is either overly dramatic or at least partially acting in bad faith.
