Marvel Films MCU Phase IV!

I think Avengers: Secret Wars is possible in a way we got Civil War in infinity Saga. But I don't want these 3 phases to be the "Multiverse Saga", like are we going to see Evil Strange, Hugh Jackman, Tobey, Andrew, Captain Carter in the neXt Endgame of the mcu?

I think the Secret Wars concept could easily be exactly that and be, more or less, 'the next Endgame' (more or less because it's not necessarily going to be as massive as Endgame was) without having to take three phases to get there. If it happens I would guess it's the end of phase iv or at most of phase v.

Eh. I think for an ongoing narrative like this, doing 3 parts is pushing it. That would mean likely it takes 2 whole years to tell a single story. What's the rest of the film slate doing while this is ongoing? With IW and EG, only 2 movies came out in between.

I guess all movies during that period of time could be set in Battleworld. They could use that to introduce some new characters/teams (Squadron Supreme, for example) and then carry them over to the 616 universe when the trilogy concludes. Would be a big gamble though.

I dont think that would be feasible for the mainstream

didn’t expect it, but if you look back the big reveals were at SDCC and they saved a few thing for D23 two months later.

D23 may emphasize some D+ stuff. Yay SDCC reveals!

I'm assuming

Black Panther Wakanda Forever
She Hulk: Attorney at Law
2023 film + Xeries slate

I think Marvel Studios would save the 2024 line up for D23.

We already know the 2023 film slate (they were all announced during the previous years. Antman 3, Guardians 3, The Marvels.... all have release dates)
In any case Feige will announce some 2024 movies on San Diego. with the rest and 2025 tittles on D23.

Im not interested in this, but they will tell/show something for I Am Groot for sure.

You already know the November 2023 Mcu movie???? Because the rest of us here don't.
so just one date left. Do you think Feige and Marvel are attending San Diego comic con for a big panel just to reveal one date? lol

Its either Blade or Deadpool 3, the two other movies confirmed a long time ago.
Marvel Studios is gonna do a big panel, we can count on much more than just one date. They will reveal various new tittles, and 2023 is 85% confirmed by now.

The panel could just include one movie (Black Panther).

I think a trailer for Wakanda Forever could be released online before their panel at SDCC, since it's possible the trailer will be attached to Love and Thunder.

After 3 years and almost everything announced in that panel being already released. I doubt their panel would be just about one movie.

Ant-Man 3, Guardians and The Marvels already finished shooting, right? Maybe new footage? Or maybe just more info (due we know anything about The Marvels despite knowing who the three leads are?).

Blade and Captain America 4 are possibilities as well. A director announcement for FF? A cast announcement maybe, which would be huge enough. There's also Deadpool 3, Thunderbolts and that Scarlet Johanson project.

For the shows, DareDevil, Echo, Armor Wars, Ironheart, WonderMan and House of Harkness could all get release dates.

Yes. Xpecially when I said there's D23 later this year. lol

But okay, no one is going to complain if they reveal their 2024 slate in Sdcc neXt month.

@SumT how about that?

Feige literally said they are ready to talk about the future, with the San Diego news.
Thats all we need to know :word:

Yeah well I didn't mention any released films and aired Xeries didn't I.

Yesss!! I was sad they weren't coming for SDCC but now that they changed their minds, I am exited to see what they have instore for us Fans who are still following the MCU. So great to hear they are attending. It would not be the same if they didn't show. More news is good news. :)

With Secret Wars you gotta go big. I could easily see it being a three-parter.
3 parter is just too much.

I guess it could be like Infinity War/Endgame. Secret wars then a post Secret wars story or pre Secret Wars then Secret Wars. And them being released 1 year apart would make time for the long gap from Avengers 4 to Avengers 5.
