Marvel Films MCU Phase IV!

I think most of the budget for Black Widow will likely be de-aging, assuming that the movie is a prequel as rumored.
After the amazing job they did with Fury in CM, I’m definitely up for more. Will be very interesting to see how it looks on Scarlett.

Assuming both Widow and Eternals are prequels (which is I think a fair assumption), it's going to be weird not having the present-day MCU story continue in 2020.

First, I really hope they don't kill Thanos in End Game. Would rather see the Eternals from Titan come back and take him in to custody. Then maybe they can open the Eternals movie after End Game with Thanos being locked away some place and tell the story of the Eternals via Flashback kind of like CapTFA and then end back in the present some how. Because yes I'm thinking Widow is going to be more like a Phase 1 movie, and Eternals can at least move the narrative a little

It will, but they'll make up for it in 2021 which, I'm assuming, will be Black Panther 2, Doctor Strange 2 and something like Shang-Chi or even the 3rd Spider-Man movie. All of those will presumably take place after the events of Infinity War/Endgame

2021 needs either GotG3 or, and I know this is rushing but, FF4. They'll need to push the Cosmic narrative a little further after the fallout from End Game, and FF4 would offer a glimpse of how Earth is preparing to enter that narrative on it's own terms, where before Earth has just hand to accept whatever came it's way.

I think there's a chance Thanos shows up in Eternals in some capacity.

I just don't see Guardians 3 coming out til 2022 at the earliest. I think sequels to Black Panther and Doctor Strange are pretty much guaranteed for '21. I'm just curious what the third film will be. My guess is we wont find out until D23

Shang-Chi seems pretty possible.

Josh Brolin Absolutely Loves Playing Thanos

And he confirmed he would be up for Eternals.

I am curious to see who will be the next one to headline a solo movie. Yes, Black Widow is next but we have already seen her in more than five movies.

Who will it be??? Shang Chi? Nova? Black Knight?

sad, that the likes of Namor, She Hulk and Spider-woman might not get a solo movie due to filmrights and similarity to other superheroes.

It'll be Shang-Chi

Yeah. I think all three of those could have been really good.

Captain Marvel reportedly takes place in 1995, and according to IMDB, Monica Rambeau is 11 years old. That would mean in present day, she would be 35.

I am down for all 3 of these.

I think it's a relatively safe bet that Shang Chi will be next, with it being the third movie to hit in 2021. It certainly seems to be further along than the speculative Black Knight and Nova projects, though I hope to see them all. It would be interesting to see what happens though if Sony wants another Spider-man film to come out then, too.

I’d just like a good Fantastic Four movie. I hope they speed that one along.

Then the 2021 films I would go with:

Black Panther 2
Eternals
Dr Strange

2022 I would go with:

Shang Chi
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3
Nova

2023 I would go with

Fantastic Four
Captain Marvel 2
Avengers 5

My guess is 2020: Black Widow and Eternals
2021: Black Panther 2, Doctor Strange 2, Shang-Chi and maybe even Spidey 3

After that is anybody's guess for now, but 2022 will probably have Captain Marvel 2, Guardians 3 and another new property; hopefully F4

I dont know what phase it would be exactly, but I want this

2022
Storm movie
Captain Marvel 2 (Rogue debut)

2023
X-Men

2024
whatever

2026
X-Men 2

2027
Gambit & Rogue

Future looking bright.

I need this team completed in the MCU so badly. Monica is inevitable, Blue Marvel and Miss America would be incredible additions.

EXCLUSIVE: Marvel Studios is setting Destin Daniel Cretton to direct Shang-Chi,its first superhero movie tentpole franchise with an Asian protagonist. Cretton is directing Just Mercy, a film he wrote which stars Brie Larson and Michael B. Jordan.

This is in keeping with the studio’s goal to take this in a direction like Black Panther, and populate it with Asian-American talent. When Deadline first revealed the project late last year, the studio had set Chinese-American scribe Dave Callaham to write the screenplay.

Black Panther provided a watershed template for how to do this, making a film that tied into African and African American cultures and the sensibilities of its nearly all-black cast, with a black director in Ryan Coogler and writer in Joe Robert Cole. The film got a Best Picture Oscar nomination and won three Oscars, in addition to grossing $1.3 billion worldwide. It is clear that after Marvel Studios’ unparalleled decade of success following Iron Man, Kevin Feige’s next iterations of superhero franchises will distinguish themselves with ethnic diversity and inclusion, in front of and behind the camera.
Larson first worked with Cretton when she starred in his second film, Short Term 12. His other directorial credits include The Glass Castle. He is repped by WME

Dont think we have to wait til 2025 to see a new Wolverine or F4

I was going to make a list with my predicted year of release but I'll never get it right. I just wonder if they will release all of these

Guardians 3
Ant-Man 3
Spider-Man 3
Dr. Strange 2
Dr. Strange 3
Black Panther 2
Black Panther 3
Capt. Marvel 2
Capt. Marvel 3
Black Widow
Eternals
Shang Chi
Avengers 5
Avengers 6
Avengers 7
X-Men

For the nXt ten years. And I see Eternals and Shang Chi getting sequels as well. And we'd get more X-Men in those years if we get the reboot by 2022 or 2023.
