hmmm......... is this for the better?

From what we've already seen..how can it get any worse?


I just read the link for the DM baord, and his response sounds a little suspect to me. He doesn't actually confirm it nor deny it, so if it turns out that the design remains unchanged in the final cut of the movie then he has deniability.

I really hope it's true, and I hope they just tweak it a bit to look more like Megs. At least get him closer to being recognizable. Less "evil monster" and more "Megatron" dammit.

You know- no one from the production ever confirmed anything that was leaked to Ain’t It **** News. So it may have been actual photos or it may not have been. The bad poet Diabetes has reported on here that Megatron’s head will be changed. From what? Did we ever release an official pic of Megs? No sir we didn’t. I CAN tell you that Megs’ head will not look like he did in the leaked pics. This was done solely because of the leader of Seibertron.com’s delicate work on the process. He is so revered throughout fandom, Hollywood and the world that we decided to make the change. It was NOT because we were trying to make the fans happy. NO SIREE.

Why that guy hasn't gotten dismissed by Spielberg is beyond me. He has single-handedly done more to knock the whole production down a few notches on the Profesionalism meter and alienate more fans than any design pictures and script leaks ever could.

The only things really set in stone are the vehicles and BB's robot form, since we've seen them in final form from set pics and such. Everything else is just 10 different chunks of art floating around. Just look at the difference between that proto-toy of Starscream and that cardboard thingie. Frozen Meg's pieces we've seen look pretty close to that art design that popped up, so I don't know how much they can change his head (if true) because it fits the evil monster body to have an evil monster head. I kind of wish they would just hurry up and release some official pics, but I'm sure it will just send this place into chaos.
