There's no shame in saying that something on your screen looking back at you sucks. You don't have to take back any words... Megatron was all kinds crap in the designs and toy boxes we saw. Plain and simple. If they ultimately change him then that's awesome!!!

I wasn't aware of that.

Plus some pictures were labelled "work in progress" and others were labelled "final design" so I don't see how anyone could say for sure. All I know is that some images were leaked and people had a chance to either give feedback or remain quiet and hope things are changed.
