I don't get why they actually did designs for Sentinels. Where would they have fitted in the film?

I agree the designs for X2 look pretty crappy, but the transformation thing looks kind of cool. X2 would have fit them in the filmduring the 3rd act I think.

Something I noticed guys, and I don't know of anyone else picked up on it. Apparently, there is NOT going to be a Sentinel foot crushing that car, just a big rock it apparently hurled at it. Ricky lied again...

I actually caught that aswell Specter . Because if it was a Sentinel's foot, then it would've been a hell of a lot closer to them than the distance Wolverine was thrown at it by Colossus.

Well, technically Singer's designs would have worked perfectly well in X3 seeing as how we're only reported to see a head and a foot (no slinky involved).

It reminded me of a Super Sentai robot. It was almost like watching Daniel morph into the Silver Ranger and throw Wolverine into one of Rita's robots and beheading it.

Did you don't really see that this sentinel head is cheap , looks like some japanese robot of seventy ?

The sentinel of the comics are great since they look likes giant cyber human.

For me , the most ridiculous is the eyes form and the fact there is no human face or human expression in this head , its' just... a robot.... Or a transformer I would say....

Im sorry to say I agree, the Sentinel head didn't look impressive to me. I don't really know if it's the framing around the eyes that make it look like a transformer or what but I don't like the design. I guess I want it to look like an actual robot and not a prop and what I saw in the clip screams 'obvious cheapo prop'.

Sure they have--look to the comics. I think, in part, that's what makes them so scary . . . somewhat human looking faces devoid of emotion--simply there to obtain and kill mutants . . .

It's in the eyes . . . that, to me, is where X3's design got it wrong, whereas the other's have it right. They've always been round, human-like eyes, but instead of a place where one typically finds the emotion in another human being, the sentinels have hollow stares, sometimes replaced by eerie lights.

Those game designs and that practical prop used in the movie don't look the same.

Clearly , what is wrong with this sentinel :

- Her eyes , too big , and not like human eyes , seems like a robot parody.

- The colour , silver and black is too simple , look likes cheap , why they don't uses the colour plan of the video game or the marvel legends figure ?

- The form of the heads and the face of sentinel , I say , I don't want a nose and a smile , but maybe an angry expression , something human...

- The tall , this head is too little...

And when I think that we cannot yet see the body of the sentinel, the most important , I'm scarred , hope the didn't do a uggly job....

Do you thing there is a chance that this not a sentinel of trask , but a training mecha of Xavier ?
