How about Ilsa? This time she's wearing shoes, but still dangerous."killer thighs is back" How much do you think she'll break her neck this time? There is at least one scene in the trailer...will there be more such techniques hmmm?:whatever:

Probably got her and Benji.Benji hanging, and she has managed to jump on someone's neck. + there is a bomb

There's something funny about that poster. Anyway can't wait for the film! After Mamma Mia and Ant-Man, this is my third most anticipated summer film that have yet to come out.

I think it's because Cruise looks scared AF :funny:

Sort of off-topic, but does anyone think that Tom Cruise scream meme sort of destroyed the Mummy? I mean not the sole reason of course, but the internet totally ran with that, and it made the movie look like an even bigger joke.

Nah, there are many funny memes than come before a movie and if the movie is good, nothing happens. In some cases it might even help it. No, it was an awful movie and he was miscast. I appreciate that he wanted to do something in a different genre, but that part just wasn't for him, or he didn't play it right, or he didn't look like part of that film.

Yeah I wouldn’t blame the meme for that movie’s failure. It certainly didn’t help, but the movie was just a dud on every level. I didn’t think Cruise was terrible in it like some have said (he at least had a personality, which is more than I could say for Henry VIII’s most boring wife on The Tudors), but nothing about that movie was very good. Russell Crowe was comical as Jekyll, and the whole thing with dead Jake Johnson giving him advice was just derivative and stupid. Sofia Boutella was okay but nothing outstanding.

Cruise himself has basically been a meme ever since the Oprah/couch stuff, doesn't exactly seem to hurt his box-office pull, especiall with the Mission flicks.

Paramount blamed him quite a bit on Mission Impossible 3 which under-performed for them. They even publicly "fired" him over it. They were clearly disappointed.

Did they "fire" him over the box office take, though? Or his controversies?

I know something went down with Paramount a few years back, but given he and his producing partner actually produce the MI stuff, you wouldn't think Paramount could actually remove them from it contractually. They could decide to stop making them, but sounds like if Paramount wants to do MI, Cruise comes along with it.

All of the above. The third movie only made $134 million domestic off a $150 million budget.

Nah, if the film was good no one would care about memes
