I find the shotgun to work very well on salvage. I still don't understand why you can't just play team deathmatch on the new maps but that will probably be added in the next week or so. I'm betting that bailout would be great during ground war, it's pretty good on CTF but I can only imagine 18 players.

Finally picked this game up, at a great price too. Playing through the single player campaign, been good so far. I've enjoyed the location of the game in the start of the game, instead of some non-descript yet clearly middle eastern location.

Played a little of the MP on another gamertag, and it's still fun. It doesn't feel that different from COD4, but neither has the SP either so far. I do like how everything I do, gets me some xp.

Looking foward to the 'No Russian' level, personally.

Yeah on TDM it's awesome getting a 250 point kill lol. Payback+Headshot+Buzzkill.

Didn't even know. I find the xp, and how they give em, helps someone like me not get swallowed whole by all the veterans. I was still getting owned, but by the end of the night my kills were about 4 away from my deaths, plus about 4 assists or so.

I'm really happy they don't have any Multiplayer achievements, too. The single player feels like COD4, which I like. The recovery feels shorter, too. So it takes me less time to bleed and recover behind cover. That was a welcome change.

2 map packs were planned but the status of the second map pack is in limbo due to the shenanigans over at IW.

also I havent been up on this that much but what maps are we getting and which ones from the first modern warfare? I hope we get the one with the downed helicopter in the middle, My favorite map to play on.

I didn't get to play much yesterday, which pisses me off because I could have probably ranked up to 40 again by last night. I hate wasting these opportunities for double XP.

Personally I actually don't have any against the FAL, but I find that funny.

I started using the .44 magnum and I've been ripping people apart with it. I'm close to tact knife.

If i'm using say a chopper gunner or ac130, but i am killed on the ground, but i'm still using the killstreak up above, would my kills count toward my killstreak, or does it count to only when i DIED???

Once you die, your killstreak ends.

Because it's just an illusion in the game. You're still killing people with the chopper gunner and AC-130 because the illusion is, you're in the chopper gunner or AC-130. Of course, you're not. So you're pretty much defenseless on the ground.

There is apperantly a new game mode on the map pack called "Stimulus" that is like Mosh Pit, except you only pay on the Stimulus Package maps. Is that true?
