More plot details?

If you think about the lessons being learned in terms of the loss of loved ones,Peter,Harry, and Eddie, Sandman is the only one not to have felt that kind of loss like the others. Seeing his daughter as a victim at the hands of someone else shows that anger and rage magnified all at once.

The climax of the movie will culminate with the events unfolding at the end of the movie so why is that garbage? A scene like that would show exactly the kind of monster Peter could have been if he had not accepted forgiveness instead of revenge. Thats the lesson in all this. This is what all the villains have in common.

If that's the case, JJJ is just crazy (he needs mental help), he should be voted off of The Daily Bugle at the next meeting. He's running the place like a Saddam Newspaper.

Well, considering we have a guy in the Whitehouse who's major motivation to send us to war was an unsuccessful plot by Saddam to kill his father, it's not surprising.

Guy in the Battle Royale arent they like 40 stories up on a construction site? how the **** is Sandmans daughter going to be there?

Theres a lot more personal reasons why that guy in the white house went to war with Iraq than that one, trust me.

I think the original post is bunk - we've heard (or it's been rumored) that SM saves Gwen at the begining of the film, which results in the Spider-day festivities, which makes more sense even if it's not official.

I don't buy a Battle Royale with Gwen and MJ as kidnapped.

Neither do I. I think it's just MJ that's taken, because she's Peter's girlfriend. Gwen doesn't mean that much to him, considering they only met.

As for Sandman's kid dying, that's utter nonsense. There'll be no child killing in a Spider-Man movie. God, as if this movie doesn't have enough death in it as it is. It doesn't need to be any more dark or depressing.

But if Eddie knows Peter is Spider-Man, and he blames Peter for pulling Gwen away from him, then there would be a reason for her to be involved.

What reason??

Gwen isn't Peter's girlfriend. He might as well take some random woman off the street. He's got no reason to punish Gwen, if he blames Peter.

brock does have a reason though. Gwen betrayed brock and started to like peter so of course eddie brock wants to get back at Gwen.

We've seen Peter with Gwen as he's under the influence of the symbiote (the dancing in the initial teaser trailer). And then there's the whole thing about Peter showing up to MJ's play with Gwen, whilst under the influence.

Gwen's past involvement with Eddie only exists in the story because it'll probably be complicated by Peter in some way.

You don't get it.

If Venom blames Peter for all of this, then why would he be punishing Gwen, if he supposedly likes her, and believes it was Peter who led her astray??

You can understand why he takes MJ, as she's the love of Peter's life, and will guarantee he'll show up to try and save her.

There's no reason for Gwen to be there.

brock must feel that Gwen betrayed him. we don't even know if Gwen is going to be in the final battle so there really is no yes or no.

Probably so. The point is that powerful men (Like JJJ) will often use their resources which should be used for the public interest for very private vendettas.

If Gwen is to be this intimately involved with two of the lead players, there has to be some sort of dramatic apex to all of this, and that would lead to her being involved in that final battle.

And the reason I don't believe that is because Raimi, in the recent Wizard issue, said that this is just her intro the movies, and she just has minor role, with a little interaction with Peter, Brock, MJ, and Spidey.

Nothing more.

JJJ wants to sell papers at any cost and will print anything in them he sees fit. Praising spidey doesnt draw more interest than trashing him , he just a shrewd business man.

your probably right though. Gwen doesn't have a huge role in spidey so it will be just mj in the final battle.

So the Daily Bugle is a Celeb/Gossip news magazine now, here, I thought it was a respectable newspaper, I guess not, eh?

what?! Listen to yourself...... yes, SM tossing a pumpkin bomb at sandman's daughter would really show that:whatever:

give me a break, lets say it did happen, one, it would be stupid, so much so that it would funny

second, it would be a waste, considering that the ramifications of his daughters death transpire in the last 15 minutes

lastly, no one would blame Sandman if he went nuts on SM for doing that... no ones going to be like "that's the difference between SM and the villians, SM can forgive... blah blah blah"... it's his duaghter... the emotional response to that would be more then Uncle Ben...

lol... yes, a well respected, notable paper will throw everything it's worked for down the drain for celebrity gossip....
