Mortal Kombat 11

I guess Ash and Joker traded places and now Ash may be in pack 2

Really wish they hadn't gone with the Joker. That's such a boring decision when they've got characters like Reverse Flash and Lobo that they could have included instead.

Definitely Bane or DS.
Joker doesn't have to be in everything, goddammit.

Or an obscure character like Black Spider. Something just for fun and someone DC wouldn't care about fatalities for.

They most likely went with Joker due to his upcoming movie.

If there has to be a dc character then maybe I'd choose Bane, Deathstroke, Lobo or Swamp Thing
Deathstroke I could get on board with.

It 2 is an upcoming movie, yet we’ve no Pennywise. Despite the fact that the MK11 Joker (from what I’ve seen of him) isn’t much like the one portrayed in the upcoming film. o_O

Not a surprise there though. Imagine paying for him for just a handful of lines. lol. I imagine he must have been scanned for it at least. The model is pretty good.

I'd really love to see someone make a game starring him as the T-800. Terminator hasn't really had many adaptions over the years.

I expected a sound alike and it's fine.i understand why

Will there actually be a Kombat Pack 2? Six DLC Characters for a initial release seems more than enough, and that's not including Shao Kahn. Injustice 2 featured 9 DLC characters, I'm not quite convinced MK11 is going to release an additional six, totalling twelve.

And even if they do, it would seem odd (to me at least) to release characters like Spawn and a Terminator before Ash Williams. I'm pretty certain which two of the three people care more about, so you'd think they (NR) would hold out on that?

If there is a KP2 however, then who gets in? Ash Williams seems standard, and you can bet they'll be another DC character in there somewhere. Four slots left? Rain, Mileena, Reptile and Quan Chi?

Terminator has to be this year to tie into Dark Fate's release. Most people care about Spawn the most and so he should be this year. Plus his film is in pre-producrion.

Ash is just a legendary character with nothing new anymore at the moment

Fujin and Sheeva were also listed among the leaked characters and so far the leak has been accurate.

I wouldn't get my hopes up for any missing MKX characters. NRS doesn't seem to make characters DLC if they were in the base roster of the last game. So Mileena, Reptile, Ermac, Quan Chi, Kenshi etc are most likely sitting this one out. And I wouldn't count on Rain and Human Smoke making it either as they are apart of Shang Tsung's moveset(as well as Ermac and Reptile). I know he also turns Sub-Zero, Scorpion and Noob, but it's only during his fatal blow and I don't think it's a coincidence that the three ninjas that are playable only appear when he does that while the missing ones are in his main moveset.

I would expect Sareena or Havik since pretty much everyone else has an assist. And Havik's one of the characters that hasn't been playable since the reboot that's had a lot of requests.

I'm thinking Cyrax, Sektor and Sheeva might make it in because they're in the story

As I mentioned, Sheeva was one of the characters that were leaked. And even though you fought Cyrax and Sektor in the story, it doesn't guarantee they'll be playable if Baraka, Sindel and Rain not being DLC in MKX despite fighting them in the story is any indicator.

Keith David is returning to voice Spawn! He voiced him in the animated series and Spawn: Armageddon video game

That is a very long ways away.

Wasn't there supposed to be some additions to the Krypt gameplay? I've been looking around, but can't see where I read those. I'm wondering if they are happening, just a rumour or if the long schedule for the kombat pack dlc mixed with the news of too much crunch time had an impact on that?

The first Mortal Kombat live-action movie adaptation was hit theaters all the way back July of 1995, becoming a massive hit overnight; a film that many consider, even to this day, to be one, if not, the best video game movies ever made.

The timing was right, the actors were perfectly cast, and director Paul W.S. Anderson was able to capture the essence of Mortal Kombat almost to the T. Needless to say, it was an incredible feat when all of this was accomplished by keeping the movie PG-13; considering that the games were well-known for it's mature content.

Christopher Lambert(Raiden), Robin Shou(Liu Kang), Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa(Shang Tsung), Linden Ashby(Johnny Cage), Bridgette Wilson(Sonya Blade) and Talisa Soto(Kitana) are still regarded as some of the most inspired castings in a video game live-action adaptation — which adds even more of that Mortal Kombat feel to the movie.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, actors Robin Shou and Linden Ashby — who played Lui Kang and Johnny Cage, respectively, in the 1995 Mortal Kombat movie — have shared some of their experiences while making the film, as well as some other interesting details about how this cult classic shaped their careers since.

Perhaps the most interesting part of the interview is that Robin Shou and Linden Ashby have kept in touch all of these years and are actually very good friends; most definitely something that fans of both the movie and the acclaimed video game fighting series will be happy to know about.
