Most annoying things people say..

I do too, and it gets me in trouble. It's why I don't post in political threads anymore.

It's so easy to make it out like everyone is hypocritical when you broaden things. I think it's perhaps a side-effect of simple mindedness.

When guys call each other "dawg", that really annoys me. But no one ever does that here. It's an American thing. HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!

And the phrase owned bugs me too.

Me: I read comic books

Them: Comic books? aren't they all for kids man?

heh, deny it all you want. You have a bizarre hatred of America.
I suspect it's for the same reason that you hate "pretty-boys". :o

^^^ So you think its bizarre to hate Americans that say 'dawg'?

Vicki and Dan moved to America.

I'm not basing it off of th^t post. I'm basing it off of the fact that I'm on the Hype at least 5 days a week and I have never seen a day go by without seeing him make a snide comment about America.
I hate America too, but it's not a fixation. I'm known for having a maniacal hatred of Green Day, but I don't mention it DAILY.

Plus he does bizarre ones, like specifically cursing Americans for their obsession with circumcision, when, uh, it's hardly only an AMERICAN practice, and it originated with the Jews.

Oh that reminds me of something that really really gets on my nerves:

when an immigrant says "i hate america"...then get the f*** out!!
And I hate Green Days guts as well

I hate it when people tell immigrants to emigrate on the fact alone that they hate america. You think it's so easy to move because you like or dislike a nation? I want to see you go attempt to get a british residence visa.

He has a lot of sexual hang ups. At least, that's what it looks like from here.

I hardly bash America daily. And it's not like I bash it that badly when I do bash it, I just bash a few of the odd social things you guys have and a couple of areas of the politics. And circumcision is a BIG American thing. Something like 80% of males do it? Interesting thing is, if you ask a US doctor about whether or not to get circumcision done, and ask a Brit doctor the same thing, you'll get two completely different answers.

when an immigrant says "i hate america"...then get the f*** out!!

But most of you are immigrants.

Why do you care about circumcision so much? I can honestly say it's one of those rare subjects where I don't care what other people do with it. How is it going to affect you, unless i've incorrectly assumed you are straight?

That's why I classify it as "bizarre". If there's any way you can stretch and wring out another harmless "well, yeah, but hey, it's an American thing.", you will,...even when there's really nothing to be gained by it.
It's like this little passive-agressive, needly thing, you get a little tummy-rumble knowing that you have an outlet where you can spit, just a little spittle on Americans and there's nothing they can do about it.

I mean I've been called a bigot because I openly (and totally irrationally/shamefully) Hate all things French, but you're only really going to find me commenting on it in the handful of "Man, I hate the French!" threads that have popped up in the year and some months I've been here, not in every single thread I've made.

It's bizarre.

It's just something I think is weird. Why do people think circumcision is this great thing when it's not? You lose sensitivity, the woman's sexual pleasure is dramatically decreased, and yet people think it's best. No wonder so many of your women are sexually unsatisfied.

But I dont hate America...If a person hates America than why would he/she move there???

Well actually, if you're born in a country, you're not an immigrant. Seeing as how most Americans are born here, that's just nonsensical.

All of us are immigrants(exceot for native americans) but not all of us hate America

^^^ I agree with the post above my ancestors may have been immigrants but Im American...born and raised there so I dont really concider myself an immigrant

This is how I feel about: You would not believe, all day long, literally scores of times, if it's raining outside, at work, the tons of people who b****, moan, complain, pout and will not shut up about how miserable, nasty, depressing, ugly and abominable it is when it's raining outside....outside,...here, in SEATTLE!

Also, none of these people own umbrellas. They come downstairs for lunch, see the gorgeous, life-giving rain through the window and go "Oh NO!!:mad:Pfffff, do you have an umbrella I can borrow?!?"

I'm like, MOVE.TO.ARIZONA.
You'll be a lot happier in your arid climate. Leave the sexy, mysterious, cozy fog and refreshing mist to those of us who love it and ****!

I've thought of something else people say that bugs me.

"If ya don't like the country, then GET OUT!!!"

Stupid. Sometimes this is spouted out foolishly when someone is simply disagreeing with some of the politics of the country. And so what if someone does actually dislike the government, so what. Why on Earth should that mean that they should be forced out?
