1. Silver Surfer

2. Phoenix

3. Storm...she can fly, creates multiple tornadoes, lightning, etc. She can do lots of damage if she wanted.

**not including Galactus since we didn't "see" him**

storm, are you joking????

err.. what about magneto of xavier who nearly killed everyone on the planet or I dunno, Mephisto or any other person who doesn't get beat up by characters with elvis styled haircuts...

:o

Storm didn't look too powerful against Magneto. :oldrazz:

Let's see. Ghost Rider would kick her ass. Ghost Rider's VILLAINS can kick her ass. Blackheart can kick her ass. Hulk can kick her ass. Absorbing Dad can kick her ass. Deacon Frost's Blood God form was pretty damn powerful too. I'm also pretty sure that she'd lose in a fight with Galactus. Call me crazy.

GR isnt at Hulk's strength level, not even his base level before he gets angry, i doubt GR could pick up a tank the size of the one Hulk did in the movie and throw as far either.

...Did you fall asleep when he pulled down a helicopter or what? That's not even with effort.

we be talking about the movie hulk not the comic book one :oldrazz: movie hulk is way weaker and Jean Grey probably could take him.

Probably can't because she has a weakness against people with healing factors for some reason.

could someone please tell me how silver sufer beats ghost rider, even in the comics...

Defeat doesn't necessarily mean kill (or half the marvel universe would have been dead after Civil War) so all it'd take is the Surfer clapping his hands and Ghost Rider's in the wind. It takes a while to heal from something like that.

i'd bet that MARY JANE WATSON could kick movie storms butt
:spidey:

Not to mention

What's that thing on the bottom?

the movie version of the man thing
i'm glad i skipped that flick

I know we are talking about the movie versions, i did create the thread afterall :cwink: .

But if PHeonix cant kill Wolverine, when The Hulk has a better/faster healing factor, not to mention much thicker skin, how could Pheonix honestly harm him?

1. Silver Surfer

2. Phoenix

3. Storm...she can fly, creates multiple tornadoes, lightning, etc. She can do lots of damage if she wanted.

Anything Storm could do would not hurt Hulk or The Silver Surfer, or possibly even The Pheonix, she is no were near the top.

No i didnt, and it was with effort. Not to mention that feat is nothing compared to throwing a tank that weigh's numerous tons halfway accross the desert.

Not to mention surviving a fall from the stratosphere with NO ill effects and taking missile's and tank shells full on in the face.

GR just isnt on Hulks strength level, sorry. His other powers mean he could put up a more than decent fight against Hulk though.

Where was there effort in Ghost Rider pulling down the helicopter. He just grabbed it like he would a small child, said "You're pissin' me off" and threw it in another direction. It wasn't like he was straining and pulling with all his might or anything. He approached it like a simple task. I'm sure if he put his mind to it he can swing that tank just as well as the Hulk did.

You could hear GR grunting with the effort of pulling it down. And believe me, i enjoyed the scene, and both GR and Hulk are two characters i love equally, but it is nothing compared to what the movie Hulk pulled off in terms of strength. Those tanks Hulk was swinging abou and taking apart weighed several TONS, probably more, and Hulk threw the first one MILES.

GR just cant compete with that.

Both in the comics and the movie/s GR is not on Hulk's level of strength, its GR's other abilities that make him a match for the higher powered people.

Without jumping to conclusions and ONLY comparing what we saw on film, Silver Surfer takes this, easily. He killed a devourer of worlds and still survived. Phoenix didn't show half of what Silver Surfer did. The Hulk would be last, but get taken out.

uh no, she was fighting against herself and letting Logan win so he can stop her

Really now? She seemed to just be letting loose all over until he said "I'm doing this for you." or whatever. Unless the novelization elaborated on it.

Based just on what we've seen in the movies, I've got to think it's:

1) Silver Surfer
2) Phoenix
3) Hulk

Not that he's at the top of the list, but no love for Magneto?

Magneto really wouldn't stand a chance against these top tier guys. He may have a shot against Hulk if he impales something through his chest but I don't think he'd get too far with Pheonix. He's admitted it himself. Him and Xavier.

been awhile since I read it but I think it mention it in there

When it comes to resistance the silver surfer is way ahead. I mean he's flying out in the vacuum of space where you should be fried by the stars or frozen by lack of. Pheonix dies by being stabbed once and the Hulk gets woozy leaving the atmosphere.

...Yeah, I think that pretty much says it all. Stab Pheonix she goes down. Stab Hulk, he grows 3 feet taller and punts you 4 states further.

more then dust, she was breaking things down on the molecule level.

I know that's what the writers said she is supposed to be doing. I was just making note of what it looks like on film (to me, anyway).

As for movie-Storm, she would lose in a physical altercation easily. With her powers, however, she could take down a lot of people... just not the ones listed. In the movies, Storm isn't ridiculously overpowered like she is in the books.

pheonix shouldn't even be considered....

if we are just talking about victories, then the surfer could do the same thing he did to johnny to the hulk.

Ghost rider has the ability to turn any object in his proximity in to a hellish version of him, meaning if he is able to get the board off the surfer, he can commandeer it for his own usage.

as for those who say the surfer's too fast, ghost rider has his change and the surfer doesn't have a force field (as you noticed he had to slap missles away), meaning he could whip round the surfer and take him off his board (or drag them both down).

Since we don't see the surfer's 'strength' in any shape or form, one could argue ghost rider is strong enough to hold on or drag him and his board down once attached to his chain and then it's all about the pennace stare.

surfer didn't kill galactus, he just transported him far away, who is jumping to conclusions now???

Or he could end up dragging GR into space and we get a space battle on our hands. :oldrazz: I honestly think if you can bring people back to LIFE then you just shouldn't be messed with. Any joe can kill. Who can really resurrect somebody? I still say one blast from the surfer would take GR out of the battle. At least enough to have him reconstructing himself for an hour or two molecule by molecule.
