Movies that were blatantly plagerized

How is that possible?
Star Trek came out in 1960's.
and they are nothing alike.

what the hell you talking about? the only person i punish is myself?
It means you aren't punishing Pixar by not seeing it. You are punishing yourself by neglecting to view a great movie because of your silly devotion to Jessica Alba.

and, just to add my 2 cents, the Incredibles didn't rip on the Fantastic Four... except for Violet.

invisibility and forcefields? sorry, but those are two powers that don't belong together logically, so, the Incredibles ripped that from the Fantastic Four. it can also be argued that incredi-boy/syndrome is like dr. doom, but that's quite a stretch. other than that, saying that the "family aspect" was ripped from fantastic four is more or less wrong. the fantastic four have "family values" sure, but only sue and johnny are related, the Parrs are actually a family. big difference.

 take that bak TVO!!!!!!!!! Jessica Alba is amazing!!!! I love her!!!!!!!! and I got another rip off.

The truth is that Violet is a better character than Sue. It's called character development, something FF didn't have.

It was always meant to be a rip-off, it's called a spoof.

maybe movie violet is better than movie sue, sure...

but comic sue has 50 some odd years of 'character development'...

and another thing... who cares who is the better character? that's not what we're talking about... we're talking about who ripped off whom. sue came first, and violet is a very obvious rip off... not an homage, a rip off.

Though I haven't seen Donnie Darko, I can safely say that just by merely reading the plot outline that The Butterfly Effect (one of the worst movies I've ever seen) completely ripped it off.

I'm also fairly positive that Donnie Darko is an infinitely better movie than the festering pile of dung that was The Butterfly Effect.

the two are close, kind of, but then again they're not really close at all.

both have to do with "time travel" and "disturbed kids" but in really different ways.

That's all that studio (The Asylum) does is release very low budget, obvious carbon copies of whatever movies are big at a given time.

Hillside Cannibals (The Hills Have Eyes), King of the Lost World (King Kong), When a Killer Calls (When a Stranger Calls), The Exorcism of Gail Bower (The Exorcism of Emily Rose), Pirates of Treasure Island (Pirates of the Caribbean), and I'm sure there are others I'm forgetting.

Monster House is ripping off a character from H.R. Puffenstuff.

Basically now everything's a rip-off of a rip-off.

Not everything; most things. Both Cliffhanger and Vertical Limit have the story of these people performing a mountain rescue where the male lead had a terrible event happen in the past where they lost someone they cared about by having them fall to their death. The only thing really different was Cliffhanger had international terrorists.

They also have a War of the Worlds film, and even called it that.

How in the **** did they get the rights for that...

EDIT: I noticed on the site you posted, the title has been changed to "Invasion."
