Moving to Friday's at 8pm!

Chuck is staying on at Mondays at 8pm I believe. It will be coming back mid season though.

I don't think so. I know it will be back mid season like January 2010.

I thought NBC confirmed the Chuck movement to Friday a while ago ?

Mondays it is then but hmm it is going to take alot of will power for me to want to tune in to Smallville with no Supernatural after it. I guess the CW could move Legend Of The Seeker to Friday nights before Smallville

Good! So that means Season 9 will definately be the last season, which it needs to be!

I don't know too many people who watch Smallville just because Supernatural follows it. Then again, I don't know too many people who watch Smallville to begin with (other than ones here).

So, anyone think that Vampire Diary show is gonna be any good? I guess it makes sense pairing it up with Supernatural but it's still a show trying to cash in on Twilight and True Blood. So...I don't know how smart of a move that was. I guess we'll see.

Well, I know lots of people who watch Smallville then watch Supernatural too.

Actually, I was teasing since Smallville has almost twice the viewership of Supernatural, which is a shame.

I watch both and love the Winchester boys, especially Dean, almost as much as I love Clark.

Maybe they got TW to sign on for a 10th Season so that they could do an extended Season 9 and hit the magical and final 200th episode.

The change doesnt bother me, as I watch it on iTunes anyway.

I don't expect this to be a huge blow to Smallville ratings wise. The show seems to have a loyal audience for starters. Beyond that there will be much less competition on Friday's(Ghost Whisperer?) then Thursdays(Bones which seemed to be a huge ratings challenge, Survivor probably hurt a lil as well).

The only negative is I expect SV to gain in what the CW would consider undesirable viewers(35+ crowd and males)

The possible move to Friday is ominous in regards to there being a 10th season. Friday night is now a graveyard where shows go to die. This is now being reported by EW, THR, and Finke. I believe we find out for sure tomorrow when CW announces the lineup officially.

echoing what everyone has already said, unfortunately, this doesnt bode well for the show, i will still be there of course, but it will probably be through the dvr a lot more than it will be live - i really hope they know how to end this show properly.....i have loved it from the get go and dont want to see it end poorly

very odd decision to take a brand new show and put it in the 8 PM Thursday "Money" slot, and move the show with the highest ratings on the Network to Friday Night, where good shows go to die.

Doomsday may not have killed Clark Kent but Dawn Ostroff is sure as hell trying.....

this is a chance to make the last season a ''superman'' season.

they can make the best ending or the worst.

Don't understand this at all from a ratings standpoint, But it's all part of Dawn Ostroff's master plan to make CW into Lifetime Lite, catering to young women only. Her long-term agenda is to drop all the shows that cater to audiences that aren't female and under 25. This blows.

Smallville was currently CW's highest-rated show, and moving it to the Friday night death slot shows she's pushing her agenda into full-gear regardless of the results. Smallville deserves a big finish and the chance to go out on top. This is no way to treat the best program on a network.

Somebody at Viacom and Warner Brothers needs to Fire Dawn Ostroff NOW. This lady is gonna turn CW into NBC.
