Mutant Massacre hints in X3.

emma frost, romance between gambit & rogue, return of nightcrawler, cameos of some of the mutants from the future, etc. one of the next sequels needs to address the mutant virus... prob in connection with apocalypse as he tries to weed out the strong.

I can see Mutant Massacre along with E is for Extinction as major plots in an X4. Sinister and evolved Sentinels would make a formidable threat.

A correction on the first post:

Angel wasn't kidnapped during the massacre. He had his wings impaled, and afterward, they were too damaged, and had to be amputated to save his life. After that, he became suicidal, and tried to blow himself up on his personal plane, and then he was taken by Apocalypse to become Archangel. Going through all that emotional turmoil like that with the character could come across very well on the screen and actually give him reason to want to join up with Apoc.

I'm liking these ideas. Especially getting to see Sinister and or Apocalypse on the big screen. I think Archangel would be just Awesome.

I think during the climax of X3 we'll see just one or two prototype Sentinels and, in response to the destruction left by Magneto and Phoenix, they'll then be put into mass production. So in X4 there will be dozens or even hundreds all over the country and they'll be the main threat along with Sinister.

That would be awesome. I don't want to wait five years to see it though.

That would make for good drama. After X3 I'd like a new trilogy that focuses on Cyclops, Angel, Gambit, Sinister, and Apocalypse. One of the reasons I want Cyke to survive X3 so badly is b/c he would fit perfectly into future sequels with Sinister as the villian. It would be an easy way to further develop Scott's character.

Yes but knowing Fox they'll probably slot Logan in Cyclops place and have him fight Sinister! I mean in X3 they've rumoured that Logan will become the leader and he'll be the one to bring Jean/Phoenix back to her senses! He's taking all the glory for himself!

after the morlock massacre i think the xmen should discover that marauders were working for the hellfire club (to purify the mutant gene pool). then upon challenging them they'll find out that sinister had orchestrated it behind the scenes. and of course sinister is working for apocalypse. all of this can span three films.

Me neither. But I know bits of the plot and I think it'd be just amazing to see it on the big screen. I hope the reason for putting in Callisto, Arclight, Psylocke and making Kitty and Peter's roles bigger is for setting up for a possible X4. I want to see the Mutant Massacre. We've seen too much of the human side already in the first three movies. The next three movies should focus on the mutant side, methinks.

I dunno from what we know it seems like Callisto and Arclight and Quills and all those others are part of the same group b/c they ALL end up joining with the Brotherhood. I highly doubt we'll see Magneto individually recruiting Juggs/MM and the Morlocks AND another seperate group of Marauders. But we'll see...IMO it would just make more sense for the lines to be drawn after everything that happens in X3. Because if they're seperate to begin with then they certainly wouldnt join forces.

I was just saying that because I remember Simon Kingberg or Zak Penn saying they have Marauders in X3. I don't know if they meant Marauders as in just characters or a whole team going by that name.

The mutant massacre would be a great story for X-4. Especially they'd have include the cajun card shark. But it just sucks that we will have to wait at least 3 years before we'll see an X-4. If it were up to me, i'd put a stop to all the spin offs and make a new X-men trilogy like they did with the lord of the rings.

Normally I would but my local comic book store shut down. The guy who owned it was a cool guy who let us read comics that he just got in before anyone else did.

I want to see Sinister before Apoc. Plus Sinister is involved in the massacre.

If I recall right, I don't think Havok had anything to do with the Massacre in the comics.

So, I'm not sure what his role would be in a cinematic version.
