My nephew physically assaulted me.

What's even more pathetic about this is that he started getting out some bible quotes to justify phoning the police. How low can you sink?

Do you know how bad this is?? I started getting confused about your gender. I actually for a few minutes thought you might be a woman.

...says the stalker obsessed with a woman and the man she's with...

Kainedamo reminds me of Robin Williams in One Hour Photo.

I was shocked to see that I hadn't posted in this thread yet. Sorry, Jonty that you were physically assaulted by your nephew. The total lack of trust and the principal of the fact that he is your nephew would send me into an unsettling rage. I would have just beat the **** out of him, however.

Don't you know school yard rules? If you are an outcast and beat up someone weaker than you, you start climbing that social ladder. Wtg KD. First GR87 and now Jonty. :)

Best summation ever.

That's why I'm on top of the ladder and Jonty is at the bottom at henchman. Because I step all over him and so does Matt.

Warlord...

why do you feel the need to call the cops? You sound like a ***** to me. Seriously man. Number one, the guy is your nephew. Number two, he didn't hurt you.

What age is this guy??

Why can't you settle a very simple dispute without wasting the cops time??

As I said, I didn't want to risk getting physical, because had I beaten his ass, I would have risked a criminal record, which would have thrown all my near-term goals down the tubes. That's more important to me than beating somebody's ass at the moment.

He wouldn't have pressed charges on you. He started it.. And you called the cops on his ass, and he didn't get a record from it. Stop excusing the fact that you pussed out and didn't stand up for yourself.

And I doubt a gas station wouldn't let you run it, just cause you had a tiff with a family member.

My position is perfectly justified, thank you.

When you're young, you can afford to be stupid about how you handle issues because no matter what you do, there are no serious consequences. For example, if you're nineteen and you go to jail for two years and have to be on probation, etc, you're still relatively young when it gets wiped off the record and you still have a chance to make something of yourself.

However, when you're about 20 years older, you generally have to be more careful, because if you end up with a criminal record, for example, you might as well go on welfare because any meaningful or well paying jobs just went down the tubes permanently.

I couldn't take the chance at the time.

Come back to me in 20 odd years, when you have a family, mortgage, etc and than advise me that the best way to handle a situation is to beat somebody down.

When you can honestly tell me at that time that beating somebody down is the best way to handle such a situation, I'll take it under advisement.

Again, you're probably only 20 or so, where almost no matter what you do, there aren't serious consequences.

A criminal record is a much more serious matter when you're older than when you're some punk kid.

Beating somebody down, and stopping them from attacking you, are two completely different things.

And you live with your relatives, You don't seem to be doing so great as it is.

I am working towards getting my own business. A criminal record would throw that all away, guarenteed.

So why even bring up the other stuff?

And you're trying to run a gas station... not a church. A measly mark on a record, not even as a criminal, as an incident, would not effect your chances...

He is a foot taller than me and outweighs me by about 100 lbs, so it's not as though I could just pick him up and remove him from my room.

Unfortunately, severe childhood abuse can stunt a person's personal growth, so I am somewhat behind where I should be in life, which I am working towards rectifying.

The business I plan to run is part of a chain, until you actually have signed the contract to run it, the chain is fully in its right to decline for any reason.

I'd rather not give them a reason, any reason.
