Naruto - Part 1

Why did I get the feeling Naruto is going to go into some Sage Tailed Beast mode and collect chakra from everyone and do some big technique ala the spirit bomb.

I'm kind of hoping it jumps back to Sasuke next week.

reading a different translation seems to imply that Naruto isn't hinting at some literal jutsu but rather the strength of numbers.

time will tell, perhaps we'll finally get "that jutsu" though jman didn't know about naruto's wind affinity at that time...

Some are saying in another forum that the panels were mixed up in the translation. Madara would say ''Do you think you're hiding well?''
Then Kazekiri no jutsu in the dusty panel on the left. The final page would have ''we're not a disorderly crowd, we're the shinobi alliance no jutsu!''
Meaning this jutsu as a metaphor.

I though the focus was just going to go back to him after the war but now that i think about it he may still have a role considering what Suigetsu found

Wow, Kishi actually did it. I didn't think he would [blackout]kill one of the Konoha 11[/blackout]. I thought he said in an interview that he wouldn't. I'm glad to see that the war has important [blackout]casualties,[/blackout] now.

Will it stick though? Wouldn't surprise me if a lot of important characters get wiped. But then Naruto does his Talk No Jutsu to change Obito's heart. Then he'll use his Rinne Tensei to bring everyone back to life.

I doubt Kishi will use the exact same plot again but I'm just saying.

True, I really hope it doesn't happen, though.

I think casualties are a good thing now to show that things are getting serious, however i can't stop but feel like this may be too late in the war, when i think back about this war i enjoy the big battles of the 2nd day, however i don't think i liked any of the fights during the first day.

I can't help but feel like Kishi possibly shot himself in foot with this arc, it's similar to what happened with Kubo during the winter war, both didn't show many character's full potencial, and it was during that time that Bleach's sales began to drop and it now barely stands in the top 10. Naruto still has a long way for that but it was defeated from the 2nd place of best selling manga by Kuroko no basket:

Hinata's about to go ape me thinks. I wonder if she can keep up with naruto though?

I hope he actually starts to look at Hinata differently after this. I mean seriously, the one girl that's into him, and a complete beauty to boot, and so far she's stuck in the friend-zone.

Well I mean they are holding hands now at least. I'm going to be pissed if she dies and him and Sakura end up together.

I'm finally catching up with some Shippuuden Episodes. The Haku and Zabuza stuff always makes me tear up. T_T

Its obviously going to be Naruto/Hinata or nothing in the end because if it was gonna be Sakura Kishi would've done something with that a long time ago. Even if Sakura were to give that speech instead of Hinata it would've felt forced.

Putting it simply:

Sakura=Kirstin Dunst's "Mary Jane Watson"

Hinata=Emma Stone's "Gwen Stacy"

lol

But seriously, if he doesn't make a move, I say Hinata should just take him by force. :o

Man, I didn't realise the english dubbed episodes were so far behind. I've been watching Naruto from ep 1 over the last few months and just had to change to english Subtitles from English dubbed then for season 8. I'd gotten so used to all the voices and Shippuden Season 8 was so damn cool...

Does anyone know why the series is SO far behind for the dubbed version?

I reckon it's more like

Sakura = Cho Chang

Hinata = Ginny Weasley

Sakura seems like the obvious one because she's beautiful and Naruto's always crushed on her, but I think the wise, sensible Naruto that he grows into is more suited to Hinata than Sakura.

Maybe it's come contractual thing with Japan where they're supposed to keep up at a certain pace in order to allow Japan breathing room when it comes to debuting the latest episodes for the series so that the dubbed versions don't catch up to the raw ones.

Funny, that's the same thing the anime itself has to worry about the manga. I'm a big fan of shiping but Naruto better not end up with Sakura, Hinata has been the only kid in konoha to like or respect naruto yet he keeps her in friend zone. It would be a little unfair for Sakura sudenly ending up with him considering he has allways been her 2nd choice.

Lets hope so, since Naruto is, of course, the Harry Potter of Japan.

A person could easily find at least over 50 reasonable things that makes Sakura suck as a character in general if they put their minds to it.lol

Sadly yes. I've always wanted to like her character but Kishi has given so many reasons not to. It sucks the main female is so unlikeable at times.

Yeah, so many times it seems like she's going to grow and evolve as a character then she just does something stupid again. Whereas Hinata outgrew her back in the chunin exams.

In more ways than one. I'mma right?
