NBC's ''The Blacklist'' - Part 1

We should predict the next book/movie that inspires them. :D

Has to be in tone with the show, since the Village was released in 2004, I would say any of the thrillers released then.

My choices are
Taking Lives
The Manchurian Candidate
Cellular
National Treasure

Since we have not heard any news on a renewal, my guess is they are in negotiations for 1 final season.

I was genuinely surprised by that episode count,my understanding was that while the ratings were ok, they had dipped a bit.

The thing is EVERYONE has dipped..... it is just a crazy time in "Live TV Viewing"....

Moving to Friday nights next season, that's never a good sign.It feels like they trying to send the showrunners a message to start wrapping it up.

[BLACKOUT]I assume tonight's episode is going to piss a lot of people off, but the clue's have been there for a while[/BLACKOUT]

I'm guessing Reddington killed Elizabeth and Jennifer's real father. Probably looked out for Elizabeth out of guilt.

Some things are a little confusing though. How does fake Reddington know so much about the real Reddington and his life. Was Reddginton's relationship with Katarina Rostova all lies? Dominic Wilkinson seems to know the truth

I sort of drifted from this show a while back, last stuff I saw was when Famke was around.

Is it any good lately? Trying to juggle whether or not catching up is worth it.

That "is-he-or-isn't-he" **** with Red as the father really started to grind my nerves. Where are they with that now? I think by now if the accepted truth is "yes", I still probably wouldn't buy it. :oldrazz: They backflip on it so often.

Shame, too, really dug the first few seasons.

After last nights episode, I'm more onboard with the ''Redarina'' theory, it's upsetting a lot of fans, but its the only thing that makes sense

I'm glad I dropped this after the mid-season finale.

Same. It's the only theory that makes sense. Why else would her father keep helping out Red?

Yeah, Ive heard some fans throw out the theory of a possible uncle or twin brother, but why would would we go on for at least 5 seasons with no mention of an uncle or twin brother and why would that ''uncle'' put his life at risk and pretend to be the one of the worlds most dangerous men.

Just caught up with the new season premier, was great seeing Christopher Lambert on television again.

This show often has some random once famous or prominent actor you have not seen in a while randomly pop up as a guest star.

Christopher Lambert, Fisher Stevens, Alan Alda, Lance Henriksen, Ron Perlman, Mary Louise Parker, Bob Gunton, Brent Spiner, Diane Wiest , Isabella Rossellini, Nathan Lane, Paul Rubens, Ralph Brown, Robert Sean Leonard, Tony Shalhoub and Brian Dennehy.

So after Liz who so desperately wants to know who the imposter posing as Red is,gets him sent to prison so he doesn't get in her way and inadvertently puts him on death row, decides at the very last moment that it's no longer important to her who Red really is?

^ LOL pretty much. :funny: Also, anyone else think Ana looks a lot like Katarina?

I was thinking the same thing when they first introduced her.

I was thinking the same thing when they first introduced her.

It’s too undeniable that I’m thinking it’s intentional but I can’t figure out why yet. :funny:
