Transformers Negatron: Discussion Thread for those that hate the way this movie is heading

True, but again the point remains that the number of unique visitors to each thread seems to be equal.

So, all things aside, it's fairly balanced.

Yeah, I kinda did miss the point of your post. hehe...

Another abomination spawned by the TINO movie:

god, the domino effect of this movie, could unravel the very fabric of everything i LOVED about cinema.:csad:

Eventhough I've never seen Shia in anything, I wouldn't hold Michael Bay against him. In fact, I'm one of the few people that likes Ben Affleck (I'm a Kevin Smith fan) and I think Pearl Harbor ruined his career (yes, Pearl Harbor, not Gigli).

So, cut poor Shia some slack. :yay:

Damn you LeBoof!!!! :csad:

*In a whiny voice*: "Daaaaad. Gimme da whip!"

Shia is actually a decent actor. There's a movie called The Greatest Game Ever Played starring Shia where he delivers a pretty decently acted performance. But from his interviews he is an idiot as a person...and deemed unattractive by Bay.

Yeuch...from that pic I could totally picture Jim Carrey playing Michael Bay in a biographical movie.

I have no problem with Shia's acting. Infact i loved the way he worked when he was on 'Project Greenlight'.

My only beef with this latest news that he may be cast as Indiana Jones son, is that's Speilburg liked him so much in Transformers, that he 'created the son aspect' of the Indy story just to squeeze Shia in there. Like i said, i like Shia's acting ability but i feel putting him in an Indiana Jones movie based off a good vibe Speilburg got from working with him on TF is a bad chain reaction type effect....

Well, this is the guy that cast River Pheonix as Young Indy and offerred to give him a whole new movie trilogy based on "a good vibe he got." I think Spielberg (or his people) are good judges....

Incidentally, Michael Bay consistently casts pretty good actors as well. He just doesn't know what to do with them. Man, that guy is a waste.

Well, I think maybe Spielberg is looking for his DiCaprio. Look what Scorsese has done with him. Leonardo has been his sole lead man since Gangs of New York. And he has DiCaprio to star in his Theodore Roosevelt movie...hello...another Oscar? I think that's what Spielberg wants...now if they could just give Shia a brain off-screen they'd be good to go.

Oh...and keep him off the caffeine.

The first time I saw the new Camaro, while touring the GM Design Center, I knew immediately that it would be the perfect 'Bumblebee,'" said Michael Bay, the film's director. He continued, "It's got beautiful lines and a classic, timeless look. There were no other cars that came even close. I have had a great working relationship with GM for many years and am psyched to be working with them on 'Transformers.'"

<slams head on desk repeatedly>

Add corporate kiss-butt to Bay's resume.

^ ^ ^
Anybody thats looks at a f*ing Camaro and sees Bumblebee doesn't have a f*ing clue. Sorry for the cursing... but, god, I hate that guy.

wait...we aren't allowed to bash the movie?

LOL what kind of message board IS this?

this is the thread designated for bashing the movie.

you made an entirely new thread in an effort to instigate a fight on these forums.

There's something a bit ironic and ridiculous about this post.

That thread didn't bash anything! It was simply a question of which movie had better dialogue.

Since when is it a crime to compare movies?

If I made a thread in the Batman Begins forum comparing that movie to Batman The Animated Series it would never be considered an attack on Batman Begins.

I mean seriously, is this forum simply here to promote the movie for the studio or is it for Transformers fans?

Keep ya head up Blind Fury.

I think it was rather unbecoming of the mods, and speaks volumes of their motives, after i saw them close your dialogue discussion thread. Some of my previous post in the Optimus Prime-positive thread were deleted because they were too 'edgy'. What the hell is this place turning into a communist forum, where we can't voice negatives about the movie..? I think the mods on this forum are over-moderating, they should check the guidelines of posting, themselves.

People. Stop being babies. If I were to start talking about how I loved the movie and how it's gonna be the best selling movie ever etc. etc. in this thread, I would expect to have the posts deleted or moved. Everyone is being so immature. If you fully-grown adults can't stop crying about a freaking movie based off a freaking cartoon that was based off of children's toys, then you need to find some more hobbies. "Bayformers" is not at all witty.

I'm all for you guys being negative, but you're acting childish about it.

What the hell are you hoping to accomplish by posting this? Start an argument? There are lots of people who feel negatively about this film and this is a thread created specifically for that, so your post is pretty pointless here. If this movie based off a "freaking cartoon that was based off of children's toys" is perfect for you then more power to you. Go be positive about it in the Optimist Prime thread.

I never said it was perfect. I just said that IF I did, then the post would be moved. Just like how people posted in the Optimistic thread how it was bad.

Childish? By voicing a valid complaint? Voicing opinions is what adults do, nothing childish about that. Far from it.

Yep. :trans: I also don't mind the negativity and all but it seems like its gotten out of control. But hey, some the posts are funny as can be!
