Yeah, and like I said, realistically, that's true. Tbh, I do love walking and running Jason. If I remember correctly, he semi-ran in part 3. He also ran in part 2, but that was when he had the patato sack.

Part 2 and 3 is the only time he runs I think. The rest he lumbers until this recent one.

Anyhoo, Friday09 wasnt serious at all I thought. I really liked that. It was fun. It didnt try to be anything other then a Friday film.

He ran in Part 2, 3, and 4. He didn't start lumbering until Part 6. I think Roy also lumbered in Part 5, but he doesn't count because we're talking about Jason not Roy the paramedic or Jason's mom.

He did? I don't remember him running fully. I know he chased her, but he didn't outside of the house like in part 3, if I remember correctly.Still though, I guess you can consider it running.

He definitely chased her outside the house, too. Remember when he chases Trish from her house all the way to the teenagers' house across the way. He chases her up the stairs, and then she jumps thru the window and lands in the mud.

It's a great chase sequence. The third best after part 3's and part 2's chases, IMO.

Oh, yeah, now I remember that! Yeah, it truly was a great chase. I really liked part 2' s chase, but I do think part 3's and 4's chases were better.

/shrug I rather enjoyed the running Jason over the slow lumbering Jason imo. I'm not sure how ppl would prefer that cliché of that now u see me now u don't routine.
Secondly,anyword on the sequel yet? I've heard some reports they are gonna use someone else for Jason?Though the sources I've read aren't really reliable at all..

After showing up as a sloppy, hairy 315-pound beast for his last fight, Tim Sylvia is a natural to be cast as a horror film monster. Fighters.com is reporting that he got a gig in the latest Friday the 13th movie. Yes, we're serious.
Sylvia has been a blogosphere punchline since he was knocked out in 10 seconds by 48-year-old Ray Mercer. He's a favorite of photoshoppers. We can't even imagine what comes now when MMA fans find out Sylvia is the latest Jason Vorhees.
Sylvia does have a return fight in less than three weeks on September 18 at Adrenaline MMA 4 in Iowa. The movie is filming in the Boston area. Here's hoping that filming is taking just a few hours a day and he's actually training for his fight against Jason Riley. Fighters.com says Sylvia is working with Boston-based trainer Mark DellaGrotte.

Not sure but I find it pretty stupid.

It really doesn't matter who plays Jason as long as they're the right build but watching the extras for the remake a few days back, it seemed like a good number of people who worked on the film had nothing but nice things to say about the guy who just recently played him.

'Friday the 13th' Rumor Idiotic Bullcrap

Stupid, idiotic and moronic rumors are hitting the web in a firestorm that fat idiot wrestler Tim Sylvia, a MMA fighter, is currently in Boston playing Jason Voorhees in the sequel to Friday the 13th. I was hoping the story would die, but it's spreading like crazy as it hit the front page of Yahoo (great journalism guys). The story is fake, its bullcrap and it's not true. Platinum Dunes has yet to even get the sequel greenlit. Remember, unless you read it here on Bloody Disgusting, or any of the other top horror sites, it's bull*****.
