They look the same as the classic look in the new show, except just more blocky.

I actually really like this one. It manages to give a beak while maintaining a faithfulness to the classic look. Not sure I'd spend so much time on scales just for the sake of realism... it ends up looking more than a bit creepy.
I am not scared...I am a fan of the 80's designs and the movie designs...I think people need to be prepared for them not looking exactly like the cartoons
I honestly didn't really get all the hate for the look for TF..I liked them all except BumbleBees face besides his battle face which was dope
I want April to be brunette this time. I'd love to see Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

SO Hot!t:

I liked all the designs much better in the 2007 cgi cartoon movie. I can understand the new TMNT shows artists wanting to give the new show its own individual look but they should have spent a little more time on the drawing board.
Probably my favorite choice as far as a new look for the turtles
Especially raph

I wonder which Aerosmith songs Bay will throw in with the movie. Let's make a poll.
"Paramount marketing changed the name. They made the title simple. The characters you all remember are exactly the same, and yes they still act like teenagers. Everything you remember, why you liked the characters, is in the movie. This script is being developed by two very smart writers, with one of the original creators of Ninja Turtles. They care VERY MUCH about making this film for the fans. Everyone on this team cares about the fans. Just give them a chance. Jonathan the director, is a major fan of the whole franchise. HE'S NOT GOING TO LET YOU DOWN.

I thnk they should all start out Red...then later on have like April give them colored ones so she can tell them apart except raph says he wants to keep his and not be like his brothers

It's not the writers involvement I'm worried about Bay.
I actually could accept a design like this. This is reminiscent of the one in that fan film posted a few pages back. That looks acceptable to me. Still identifiable to the classic look we're familiar with, but a more menacing updated look.
Michael Bay Confirms Live-Action TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES Movie Will Be Called NINJA TURTLES; Characters to Still Act Like Teens
by Matt Goldberg Posted:March 27th, 2012 at 7:34 am![]()
Last week, producer Michael Bay and director Jonathan Liebesman had to wade through the overblown reaction to making the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the upcoming live-action movie originate from an alien race even though thats where the infamous ooze comes from in the original comics. Then a new spat came about from the rumor that the live-action film would simply be called Ninja Turtles. On his official website, Bay has confirmed the new title, and Paramount dropped the teenage and the mutant for simplicity (read: marketing). He also added that The characters you all remember are exactly the same, and yes they still act like teenagers.I dont mind the title change. However, it does seem like theyre moving away from making the characters teenagers. It looks like the Turtles will be adults who act like teenagers. You know, like the adults who are losing their **** over a title change. Hit the jump for Bays full quote. Ninja Turtles is set to open on December 25, 2013.
