LMAO! I dunno I think that rule is kinda funny. It's like your making an infraction and not even realizing it unless someone tells you. I mean it's not even like an outrageous offense like cursing/flaming, just "your signature line is too long. Yes, we know it keeps letting you type stuff in your signature. Just don't. You've been warned."

It is? :wow: I can see I'm going to be in trouble in the future. :awesome:

^Now that you've already outed yourself, yeah.

Emmett's got my favorite lines. :D "It's about time someone's scored around here." Plus the chapter Meyer cut out of Twilight about his origin is awesome.
Never read it. How does it go? And I cant seem to remember how the others turned into vamps. I remember Edward had the spanish flu and Rosalie was gang raped, but the others I cant remember.

Emmett got mauled by a bear and Rosalie found him. Alice was stolen from a mental asylum by a vampire who worked there. Jasper was turned during a war by 3 female vampires who recognized his fighting talent. Carlisle was fighting vampires and bitten by one in the process. Esme threw herself off of a cliff after her baby died, and Carlisle found her.

Wasn't it James(Evil vampire from 1st story) the one that turned Alice as well?

Wait, I think that James was hunting Alice but someone else changed her. Hrm.

Well, I think it's because you have a bunch of dudes telling chicks what they should and shouldn't like.

Really?

It's not because the books and the movies are a definition of kitsch,it's not because it's a delusional, childish story about ''relationships''?

All this PC crap really needs to stop. There is no such thing as girl or boy movies, either it's a good one or a bad one.Pirates Of The Carribean became a phenomenon mostly because females went to see it due to the Depp/Bloom factor.I don't see anyone hating on Pirates 1 since it was a fun, entertaining experience.

The same thing can be said about Harry Potter, some might not get over the ''wizard'' premise but i don't see any males hating it because females enjoy it.

And you know why?Because the movies are actually quite good and the hype doesn't build around Harry's shirtlessness.

The Twilight phenomenon only puts a bad tag on females as mindless when you consider that there are hundreds of love stories which are a lot better wriitten, better acted and far more genuine.

On the same note,i despised TF-2,G.I Joe and Wolverine...does that make me hatefull toward the male part of the population too?

That's right, Pickles. James was hunting Alice, but a vampire that worked at the asylum Alice was in changed her to save her. In revenge, James killed the vampire, leaving Alice all alone.

The movie was alright (didn't spend money on it def used the bootleg system lol) It was definitely better than the first but that's not very hard to do. I mostly wanted to see it for two things

Ashley Greene AND Ashley Greene

Lol same here. I did end up loving Jacob though he was badass.

^Yep. I just can't stand the overly androgynousness that is Edward Cullan.

He's just....creepy. And I hate weak females like Bella. Blame it on Catwoman and Buffy, but I like it when a girl can hold her own and kick ass.

havent seen any of these films but Edward just seems a bit creepy lol jacob is actually more masculine and he is only played by a 17 year old lol

The relationship between Bella and Jacob feels alot more ''real'' than hers with Edward.

Realness don't matter when it comes to soul mates !

Their relationship gets better in Breaking Dawn though, less superficial.

Well by real I mean alot more relatable.

And yeah I heard it does.

I just found out that the Team Jacob Werewolf Boy is actually an underage 17 yr old. Therefore having him shirtless (showing off his muscles) in the movie was practically alright, but if an underage girl was doing the exact same thing (showing off her nice bosoms) it would’ve been unacceptable in our society. I think it’ a classic case of double standard.

Edward Cullen isn't really androgynous...

Agreed. I don't find him to be attractive, but he's far from being androgynous

Edit- I don't find Pattinson attractive, that is. Edward from the books sounds hot :o

Heh.

Eh, if you look at the amount of "sex appeal" worldwide that caters towards men who like younger girls, it really isn't so big of a comparison. This is just one movie series.

Yeah, but I want to scream about my desire for jailbait too!

This series is the epitome of Yin/Yang. :o For how much love there is, equal amount of hatred. Unreasonable and reasonable all around.
