It's silly to me because
a) There's no way to verify what they're saying is true at the time
b) if it is true (and that's happened before) the whole thing is just a corny attempt at seeking attention to me. Hence why I think it's silly.

If someone has info and wants to share with the rest of the fans, while maybe risking their job... well, the least the other users can do is to be respectful and not call it silly. That is the silly attitude, imo.

but to each its own.

If I had info, Id love to share it with other people and my friends, so I can enjoy the discussion and see other people reactions and opinions. And there is nothing silly about it.

Do you really think Fox gives a flying turd about timelines and continuity? Nope. The execs want what the execs want. The timeline is for writers/producers to try to justify in the interviews after the film.

If they want to post it, then obviously that's there right and decision. But I don't have to appreciate what they're doing. Especially if I find it silly.

It wouldn't surprise me if they did.
It would be strange though since this seems (from what I gather) so low budget and not as much of a risk

But who know. I do hope they are keeping the horror tone.

back on topic, if I could choose between adding Colossus or X23, Id choose Colossus all day. Laura doesnt make any sense, and its a mess. Really hope Kinberg doesnt add this mess. If so, he's worse than I thought

Continuity has never been an issue for FOX. They can certainly add any character they want.

But I'm not a big fan of Laura in this, as much as I liked her in Logan.

Guys, DK is clearly Donkey Konganu Reeves.

As for Colossus, I could see him being in like a cliffhanger scene at the end. The New Mutants escape from the facility, you see what looks like an enemy jet landing for them. Yet out comes Colossus instead, kind of like the Get Out fakeout at the very end. I'd love for Ellen Page's Kitty Pryde to be with them if it is something like that.

As for X23? It's a pretty easy fix, just don't specify the date. It could be set post-Logan for all we know and she gets captured again.

This film needs all the help that they can get. The thing is only this film wasn't so self contained and had they embraced the comic books in the beginning we would have seen this by neXt month. Adding Colossus and X-23 in order to salvage the film could be problematic since it could lead to an uneven film. But we'll see. Usually reshoots rarely save a cb film that ended up having bad reviews.

This is more than a few scenes being added, the scope of the changes being made is massive. This is an attempt to salvage what was a sad man's jumbled incoherent mess of a movie. We are excited that Fox has given us a chance to fix this. Be optimistic, the mad dictator is nothing more than a figurehead now.

Because Fox just realized that this should be connected to the previous films especially for marketing purposes.... But they could have thought of that last year before they shot a single scene. Its not like we didn't have the MCU showing how it should be done. Once again, Kinberg and company breaking boundaries here and reaching for the stars.

This is the next Suicide Squad, Fantastic Four, Justice League... And I'm sorry slugzilla, despite your renewed optimism Unless they start from scratch, I don't see why this is salvageable. The foundation is bad that they delayed the release for 10 months. That's really bad. At best, it'd be an average film with a rt rating between 40% to 65%. But who really wants that?
