In fairness, we don't know it's not a trilogy. We have no idea if it will be one, of course, but there's been no information one way or the other (which makes sense for a deal that's likely to go through but hasn't yet).

Pic is pretty cool, but the height of them feel so wrong, man.
isnt Cannonball the tallest of them all? Dani looks so tiny and Magik seems older and taller than everyone else, and too much center stage to my taste, I get she's very popular, but I dont use to like these "obvious" compositions
and that just isnt Cannonball to me, but oh well

Anya and Maisie are perfect! I also have high hopes for Blu!! The film will hinge on her!

Sienkiewicz mentioned that seeing Charlie act made him realize he drew Sam too tall. But hindsight is 20/20. Wouldn't be too concerned about stuff like height.

then be prepared to be disappointed. I found it odd to now be excited about this film having 2 sequels when the most likely scenario is that Dark Phoenix will be the last film in the current X-men film universe

I'm in the same boat. I don't get why commenters on here dislike my idea of merging universes/casts with an event film. Unless New Mutants bombs and Dark Phoenix doesn't outgross Apocalypse, I don't see why the current casts can't continue and why so many people on here are so eager to do away with the New Mutants cast. The Witch was great. Game of Thrones is great. Stranger things is great.
