Louis Leterrier’s The Incredible Hulk promises to deliver maximum mayhem when the Hulk encounters…the Abomination!

For those critical of Ang Lee’s plodding Hulk (2003), Louis Leterrier’s (The Transporter, Transporter 2) non-sequel The Incredible Hulk promises to be much more action-packed. Few official details have been released at this time, but the script, written by acclaimed actor Edward Norton, who will also be playing the lead role of Bruce Banner/Hulk, apparently includes a titanic slug-fest between Hulk and his “evil twin,” the Abomination, played by Tim Roth.

Bruce Banner is at the end of his rope. After a failed suicide attempt, Banner heads down to Brazil, where he takes a menial position in a factory in an effort to stay out of sight. The jungles of Brazil contain numerous plants and animals with curative properties and Banner hopes to find something that will help cure him of the gamma radiation poisoning that causes him to turn into the Jade Giant. When Banner’s gamma-irradiated blood nearly kills a woman in a freak accident, the government is alerted to his presence and once again hunts him down in an attempt to weaponize the Hulk. When the gamma serum created to help Banner cope with his “Hulk outs” is taken by an irrational soldier named Blonsky (Tim Roth), the result is the monstrous Abomination. When the two titans collide, the result is total devastation.

The Incredible Hulk is scheduled to be released June 13, 2008.

Hey AD, do you believe Emi really had access to the script? I mean he's in Italy supposedly and we are in Ontario. The only leak was reported from two sources.

I truly believe that Emi is saying the truth... If the script is out there, why can't he found it?
Anyway... he's been really convincing with me. :woot:

Again, you don't understand a jack: never heard of PDF scripts?:whatever:

Many thanks SpaghettiHulk: much appreciated! No hard feeling and hope that you enjoyed those exclusive revelations of mine this morning....:cwink:

Its not about understanding jack. PDF is a format/file, not a script. Obviously there's a small group of guys sharing stuff with one another.

Isn't this the same synopsis that both Latino Review and IESB were reporting on Tuesday? Old news by this point.
Yeah, Latino's was more extensive and detailed. What's funny is that I'm working up here in Canada and the old script is floating around and I wanted to compare it to the revised one, but can't get a copy. Sheesh! lol.:csad:

Hmm... this synopsis says that the serum helps Banner control his Hulk outs but the script rundowns sorta suggest that they had something to do with Banner becoming the Hulk.

I believe Emi is legit and he told me that Bruce becoming the Hulk is a mixture of serum and gamma radiation.

Yeah, I'll add in some support here for emi.

It's not entirely out of the realm of imagination that it did manage to get leaked past that inner circle.

I mean, look at the last Harry Potter book for a recent example.

True. Ok, I'm a believer, lol.:woot:

I'd bet the serum is used to cure him. Perhaps there's something in the super soldier serum to cure The Hulk. Maybe a transfusion w/Cap. ;)

By the way. When copies of the script are given to people to read from these big studios not ONE of the scripts are exactly the same. Many have code words, or just one different word in the entire script that nobody would notice. So when the leaked script is located they know exactly the source. So if Uni ever got their hands on this script that's floating around they'd know the original source.

This too, is very true :)

Same thing with workprints. Unless someone takes the time to check every frame of film there's a good chance it can eventually get traced back.

Of course, that won't stop me from wishing and hoping I managed to stumble upon a copy like I have so many other things in the past :D

In the meantime, anyone want to link to some of the older scripts (Hensleigh, etc?)

Which one did the Hulk in Vegas one? It's been so long I've forgotten.

I have the awful Jonathan Hensleigh draft but only in hard-copy.

No, this is the old John Turman version; also got the David Hayter screenplay that is a mixture or better, a copy and paste of Michael France and Michael Tolkin drafts.
