He wasn't a part of the original New Universe, no. Except as a comic book character.

It's called a reboot. This is an alternate Tony Stark who was apparently affected by the Fireworks (the 50's white event) and from what I got from the preview, he was the 50's version of Dr. Swann's contemporary character in the main series (Shockfront) ie, he was a Cipher. (Able to interface with technology)

Sorry. #3 is out September, While July and August are being filled up with two one-shots (1959, focusing on Phil Voight in the '50s, killing superhumans and Conqueror, focusing on Starr the Slayer, shown in issue 3 (or was it 4?)

I never read that. I just like the plot line of people discovering new powers. I want to see where this is going to go.... if we ever get to find out.

I liked the 1959 issue... but yeah this is going the way of Supreme Power.

First it is going to have a draw back on everything (violence, etc...) then a relaunch... which will suck.

no. not like it's a big hit tor wallets right? (a book every two months or so) but it looks like Shockfront #3-6 have been either delayed or mercy-killed by Quesada and the guys up top. I think Marvel's trying to pretend this never happened.

At least there was those wonderful six issues that set up a great story and strange universe for heroes to exist in...

Before Marvel raped it... but then made sure it had to pay for its own rape kit, which meant it had to take out loans which it tried to pay off with a s**ty version of those first issues getting what most would call the Supreme Power treatment.

God, this sucks. I loved the original and I loved the first 6 issues of the revamp. Why can't Warren Ellis seem to hold a damn title together?

exactly. that's why this series is tanking, spreading out creative power on something other than the main title is plotline suicide.
