The Dark Knight Nicholson on Ledger playing the Joker

S--t man, I keep forgetting about Indy, as the news has been very very light. I'd have to say that this and TDK are tied IMO as far as anticipation. Rambo and Iron Man right behind them.

Harsh Times
"Son you look like you're full of piss and vinagear"

No, that´s Harrison Ford, that´s as much of him as they can show to disguise the wrinkles...:woot:

Lol:oldrazz::woot:

Yeah, I don´t get where there´s a problem. Those who think Nicholson´s Joker is pitch-perfect will always have his 89 performance. Those of us who´d like to see a darker, more psychotic take, will have a chance with TDK. Everybody wins.

Yes, exactly.

Funny how this thread keeps going back to Bale's voice in BB.

TF did humor right  oh and I thought Begins had some really funny moments.

If the humor in TDK has anything to do with TF, then movie Batman will be dead for a loooooooong time.

I only liked his voice during the interrogation scene, at Gordon's porch, and the final rooftop scene.

The gruff, growly voice works better when he doesn't talk fast. It should either be slow, or short and to the point. Anything more, and it just sounds ******ed. :o

What did you think?

I liked his gruff Batman voice.

I did, but I'm sad about Bale's constant sore throats :csad: I always imagine the scene when he first talks to rachel:

Rachel: "Ah!" *throws tazer*

Batman: "Falco-*COUGH* *cough* *cough*

Rachel: Um....are you ok?

Batman: *cough*

Rachel: here, have a halls....

*batman takes halls while covering his mouth from coughing* *nods at rachel*

Agreed. The scene where he explain's Al Ghul's plan to Gordon and asks for his help could have been much better, voice-wise.

If by dead, you mean 300 mil US 700 million WW, then I'll take that.

No, I don't mean that. I don't want another Batman and Robin, thank you very much.

Bale's voice sounded great. I never liked how the previous actors used their same Bruce Wayne voice.

This thread has gotten ridiculous.

What was wrong with B&R? Oh yeah, thats right.........TF's humor was funny, B&R's humor, well I really dont remember that movie having humor :o

No, thank YOU very much

A bit of an exaggeration. I wouldn't the Batman franchise to take on TF humor, but I sure as hell wouldn't name that franchise as a B&R.

TF is probably going to be the next POTC, spawning a couple of blockbuster smashes that mainstream audiences will enjoy the hell out of.

And a little bit of that could shuffle its way over to this franchise.

I forgot

No, thank YOU very much

Having black people speak fast and talk funny (not in a good way) for 5 minutes (a trend that I had thought forgotten since the 80s), or the hero talking *********ion with his parents while some giant robots act like fools outside.... nah, I don't want ANY kind of that humor in TDK.
