Brown hair is Nolan's more realistic version of red hair.
No, I thought she was far too lurid and campy. Nolan really sold out his gritty realistic vision there.

I was recently in 4chan's comics page and someone was "storytiming" (= upload all the comic's pages one by one) a "Batman: Gotham Adventures" (stories taking place in the BTAS universe, art is like Timm's) issue about the Riddler and it had the following page:
I dont know, i just liked the family moment of Bruce with his sons. They even had Dick say one of his famous puns without sounding overly cheesy and we also see Tim imitating his "older brother" and getting a thumbs up from him. If they dont overdo it like "The Batman" did, then Robin can be a great addition to the movies and provide his own (sparse) comic relief moments.
I'd rather have this than "nice ride" or "nice coat".
Yeah i've read a few and they were very good. Those comic spin offs of BTAS were surprisingly good. I've got nearly every issue of them. Paul Dini even wrote a few of them.
Bruce was still dark and miserable in both BTAS and TNBA (especially in the latter) and from the few issues i've read of this, he seems to be the same here too. So they re not exactly happy. The robins are trying to be but he is resisting and shooting them down. Besides this was just a comic relief scene, they re not spouting puns all the time. Actually they barely do, the comic relief in TNBA was a lot more discreet.Gasp. That's exactly why the character shoudn't be envisioned as daddy Batman in a movie.
No matter what it always ends up in cheese and cringeworthy moments. Batman has no room for a family. And less of all the "comedy" that a family of superheroes always seems to carry. It doesn't hurt in comics.
Ah, you misunderstood me. I said "dramatically toned-down," not "toned-down dramatically." I suppose instead of dramatically I should have used seriously, strikingly, or effectively
As much as I liked that storyline in Streets of Gotham, I think it would make a much better episode of a tv show than a feature film, especially the final film in a trilogy. There's just not enough to it; it's not epic enough.
Here's a way I think they could insert Robin into the Nolan Batverse.
Lots of people have said they want Nolan to go the route of a lesser-known villain. If he wants to get dark with it, I'd kinda like to see the current storyline from DC's Batman: Streets of Gotham. Use Zsasz for the villain. Kids are disappearing from Gotham City, being kidnapped or running away and never seen again. Batman is investigating this while dealing with some other type of threat at the same type (second villain, Wayne Ent. takeover, something). Turns out, Zsasz is taking these kids and running an underground Fight Club, where spectators pay money to watch the kids battle it out in various types of fights (cage matches, weapons matches, etc). That's something that could be done realistically on screen. A threat that everyone can realize, but not something huge or over-the-top. Maybe I just really enjoyed the storyline and it's fresh in my head, but I'd kinda like to see Nolan tackle that.
And I know Nolan said Robin would never enter his universe. And I'm not saying I want to see Robin or Dick Grayson in this interpretation of Batman. But this would be a way to introduce him into the movieverse. He could still have a background in the circus, with his parents dying and whatnot, but then he ended up being snatched by Zsasz and fighting in his little show. But he's like the star and kicks all the other kids' butts, and ends up going with Batman when he breaks up Zsasz's fight ring.
Like I said, not saying I want that to happen, but it could be done.

So Robert Downey Junior and Leo Di Caprio get sidekicks but Bale doesnt? What's up with that?

Last time I checked, both of their sidekicks aren't 12 year olds....![]()
Even in captain america they made his sidekick like the same as age as cap. Do any of you want to see another chris O'Donnell situation where a man in his mid twenties is adopted by bruce wayne...
