I like movies that takes place in snow. Like Fargo. Its visually stunning and it gives a very cold(duh) and depressing feeling. But without Freeze.

I dont understand the argument that blockbusters cant take place in the winter.

I'd much prefer a sweltering heatwave like the beginning of DKR

I kind of saw the Dark Knight movie as one gigantic heatwave, with the escalating tension being like the summer coming to a boiling point.

I think a winter theme would be great to represent the dark and depressing times Batman has found himself in. Imagine the story coming to it's climatic conclusion in the midst of the largest blizzard Gotham has ever seen, then as things begin to resolve and Batman finds himself in a better place, the day breaks and the sun begins to crack through the storm again.

It's admittedly cliche, but something that could work with the Batman.

Snow can add a factor to Batman with his detective skills and such because it will show him having to adapt...

Snow used to set a tone in any given scene, would be great. It IS Chicago afterall.

I envision a shot in the next installment where Batman stands alone on a rooftop enveloped by the shadows of the night, and in the middle of a snowstorm. A dimly lit lightbulb from an adjacent fire escape burns out and all we see is his silhoutte outlined against the crescent moon.
