Am I the only person who still doesn't see the point of having the original X-Men stuck in the present?

I thought the initial idea of them being there wasn't terrible and there have been some good moments, but I think they should have gone back to the past by now. Aside from Jean, who I have found to be annoying, there is already a version of all these characters in the present. Focus on them instead of these past versions. Or other characters that don't get any face time (like the younger X-men that were already there). They were pretty much through being useful by the time Battle of the Atom came around.

I'm still enjoying the All-New title but I do agree, I don't know how much longer they should be here. I don't want them further convoluting their timeline.

I can't say no to Bruce Timm (or a Timm-like artist) drawing the X-Men.

yeah that's Bruce Timm, would've loved to have seen his designs for an x-men animated show back when

nowadays it does look a bit dated though

that last page of the preview is just awful however, though I can't figure out what the hell is supposed to be going on there. It has text, so it's a page, not some weird alt cover

Has anyone read the Trial of Jean Grey? How is it?

Bendis-tastic. Only thing to come out of it was some BS psionic powers from Jean, Cyclops and his dad gettin all mushy, and my boy Gladiator looking like a bully.

Bendis is a genius. I never cared much for Iceman as an X-men member but now I'm a fan. But im confused in the last issue are Charles Xavier II and Raze brothers? Meaning both Charles senior and Wolverine banged Mystique? Filthy lol.

I've just started reading All New X-Men and Uncanny X-Men. I've enjoyed both books so far, being a Bend is fan myself. 12 issues into ANXM, read the first arc of UXM so far, issues 1-4.
